“We visited this gas station on our PCH road trip through Big Sur. I must say that the prices were high, but we expected it, plus we were inBig Sur, so it was understandable as to why it was expensive. This wasn’t the first stop for gas in Big Sur. It was so cool to see and visit these quaint, unique little gas stations. Redwood trees are around as well in the area.”

“We come up every year to go camping in Big Sur.
Supporting local businesses was a priority on our trip this year.
This station is great, and Roberto, the gas station attendant is friendly and helpful.
For three years Highway One from Los Angeles to Big Sur has been closed due to the slide and continued earth movement. Local businesses are suffering.
Yes, the price is higher than Monterey or Carmel, so do not forget to gas-up there if you do not want to help support Big Sur.”
“Well despite being a bit pricey.. brief stop is a must. Lovely gas station/market on the Pacific Coast HWY nr1. Very stylish, very American. Take a look from nearby magnificent lookouts, buy yourself senselessly large coffe or can of Dr Pepper and dont forget metal plate souvenier. After all it is your holiday :-)”
“Stopped by this lovely spot for breakfast. There's a river next to it which is nice, I loved how calming the view was. The dishes we had were pretty good and comforting, exactly what we needed to start our Day Trip to Big Sur. The staff were so nice and friendly too.”
