“R&L is my one stop on the way to work without going too far out of the way. Ray is a good guy and this store is a gem to the local community. Stop in and grab a cold drink or snack if you are in the area. Lotto tickets, soft drinks, cigarettes, snacks and beer are always fresh in stock.They also have a selection of air fried foods that are good for a quick bite on the go, Ray puts them out fresh every day. Chicken. Pizza. French fries. Cheese sticks. Burritos. Etc. Ray has been doing this for as long as I can remember, every day. Going back to 1996, when I went to high school across the way.(The fried foods might not seem like much to the average review reader, but let me explain there is NOTHING around here for miles. So that fried food is a God send when u need something of substance to eat. ?)”

“I think the staff is starting to feel the heaviness of being so busy. Unfortunately there customer service has changed. I understand the pressure though. I hope they get the break they need.
I am confused as to why I couldn't redeem my lottery ticket to continue playing if they have 2 registers. Eh I took my small winning ticket and will redeem elsewhere I guess. However I'm here wondering if that next ticket I would have bought would have been the winner. Oh well.”

“No matter how I'm feeling when I go to the pharmacy, my CVS has the Best Staff! they are always pleasant and never make you feel ignored when you have to wait to be helped. The pharmacist gives easy to understand instructions about my medications and also recommends vaccines I am able to receive for the upcoming flu season. The Staff is always busy working, but none of them have ever been rude or short with me because they have a lot of work to do, and that's so Appreciated, especially when a visit to the pharmacy is usually not because your feeling like your Best self.”

“I visited the Walgreens on 4771 W Ashlan Ave, Fresno for passport photos, on Sat about 10am. I was wearing a beige t-shirt, which Elyssa, shift-lead said it would bleed into the background. Seeing no dark appearal nearby to purchase, I asked Elyssa who was wearing a beautiful black sweater, if I could borrow for the photo. And to my surprise. she smiled and said "sure". ☺️ I received my photos about 10 mins later. This kindness saved me time, which I was short on.
