“One of the two best places to get your fishing supplies... Usually the first stop to get bait and fishing intel from Lone Pine up to Virginia Lakes. Checkout the recent pictures of the local catches. The store owner and staff are extremely helpful and never had a bad experience here in all the times I come up.The store is well stocked along with some additional hard to find items. I've purchased fly indicators and modify them for quick changeout bobbers. Also got my nightcrawler cups here instead of keeping them in the styrofoam cups to eliminate any dropped litter at the streams and lakes. Prices are fair, but keep in mind to support the local businesses instead of big box (online) stores. Quick reminder, Bishop offers fishing year round, the local plants are provided by the chamber of commerce, hence, your local businesses.Lastly, this review is long overdue. “Most all of the guys are awesome... except Nick, he was a total and complete jersey. Ron was spending time with us and getting a huge sale and Nick yelled at him for spending time giving supplies and advice for local fishing and camping. I've known and shopped there longer than Nick's been alive...he should learn some respect and appreciation for our kind of customers... we drove all the way from Vegas and Nick treated us like a total jerk!!!”
