“For many years I would visit the Bolinas market after surfing, where the deli serves delicious sandwiches and the people are always warm. Sandwich best eaten with some chips and the sun in the nearby park.”
“Parking spaces are available. Delicious hot and cold dishes, salads and desserts to choose from. All dishes are weighed and paid for. The vegetarian curry was very tasty. Great selection of cookies, muffins and soft drinks. Seating is available outside.”
“Our go to market! We live up the street and come here constantly. Amazing breakfast burritos, bbq, sandwiches, ice cream, and everything else. The owner Pat is a great guy. Super friendly and a staple in the community. A must visit on your way to the coast!!”
“Andy's is a jewel in the neighborhood. Their sandwiches are great and they have a pretty good selection of prepared foods. They pack a lot into a small store. Their prices aren't the lowest, but that's not why I go. I wish more neighborhoods had a store like this.”

The owner and his team were taking care of everyone who walked through the doors as if they were an old friend—it was lovely. They opened our eyes to some great combinations of the aged balsamics and olive oils and were stoked to try these at home! AND, they ship so we don’t have to make the journey now that we have a great baseline of the flavors. Already looking forward to my repeat purchase.”

“I was inspired to write this by a quick stop for apples and vegetables after school yesterday. I shop here about once a week on weekday mornings (plus at the San Rafael location on school breaks and some weekends). The produce is farmers market quality--fresh from local farms--and usually even better priced than Safeway. The fish is the best around and i can only find certain cheeses, like Bulgarian feta, affordably here. Anyway, on this which grocery run between kindergarten and second grade pickup, I told my younger daughter that we weren't going to get treats (which was tough, given how alluring the Christmas display are--and yes, I'm hitting those next week). The store was packed because, it turned out, Thursday is "senior day." My vegetable loving daughter picked out some beautiful oyster mushrooms and a bunch of carrots in lieu of a treat. But then, at the checkout, the lovely cashier offered her a candy cane (after asking my permission) and a balloon. My daughter gleefully exclaimed, "And you said I wouldn't get a treat!" As my kindergartner beamed amidst the crowd of Thursday senior shoppers, I thought about how meaningful local businesses like United are to the community as a whole, from schools to sports teams to seniors.”

“Good food, typical Bolinas people run it. Lots of people complain about prices who don't know how remote and special the town is. worth it. Be nice and you get nice back”
