The Desert Pantry had all the groceries needed for a trip. It had supplies solo and for a long drive. The store was nice, little, and friendly. Good prices were less expensive than the local competition. The owner was very impressed. The restroom was good after a long drive. The store was nicely expanded, updated, and the area was good. Supplies were except chapstick, which ran out. The owner was nice and very friendly. The store had good prices and was less expensive.
Had to take Rusty to the barbershop for a haircut which he didn’t like so afterwards I took him to the Desert Pantry and Roger made him a pastrami on rye sandwich and then Rusty was happy again and I bought him a hat .

They have all the staples as well as a good joice of international foods. They have some local labels such as Borrego Olive Oil Company which is owned by Ingrid and Paul, local Borregans who select high quality EVOOs from californian olive groves. Local and fresh.
