“We love to taste up to 70 wines in 2 oz or 5 oz glass before buying a bottle at this wine bar and shop. I chatted with VA vets who drop by for a sip, locals, and Yountville travelers. More fun: there's a private tasting with Selah cab sauv on Th April 11 whose winemaker is Thomas Rivers Brown! You also might run into a master somm there on occasion.Parking: Park in free lot behind Wells Fargo Bank and Wine Country Connection or free onstreet parking.Wheelchair accessibility: VA vets can access shop easily in motorized wheelchairs.”

“We came in on a rainy Sunday afternoon and enjoyed talking to Bill about their spirits. He also gave us plenty of restaurant suggestions to walk or drive to. We ended up splitting a flight of 6 tasters after our lunch. We purchased a bottle of Pomegranate syrup and rhubarb ginger gin. Quite reasonable pricing, cozy seating with easy street parking. Thanks, Bill!”

“A few years ago we went wine tasting and the host told us about a small gas station in the middle of Napa with the best hot dogs. We looked for it, loved it and came back for more. After a day on the wine train we needed some more food, we didn't think twice, Honor Markets hot dogs were our go to, yum.”

“When you're hungry and on the go, get over to Broadway Market for the best deli sandwich in Sonoma. Packed away in the far back corner of the store, the deli counter shines. You can choose from a variety of breads (soft sour roll, soft sweet roll, sliced sour dough and others), a panoply of meats (smoked turkey, regular turkey, ham, pastrami, bologna, mortadella, etc.) and all the toppings imaginable (lettuce, tomato, multiple cheeses, onions, etc.). There are also hot dogs, Polish sausages, hotlinks and chili. Fill out a paper ticket to start the sandwich making process, and in a few minutes your sandwich will be ready. The sandwiches are totally great and will fill even the hungriest patron. Smoked turkey on a soft sour roll with mayo, Dijon, lettuce, tomato, pepperonicini, pickles, salt and pepper is always a winner. And at only $9.95, it's a bargain. Pro tip: It gets crowded around lunchtime, so the wait may be a little longer. If time is of the essence, you can call in your order, and it will be ready when you arrive. Aside from being a great market that packs almost everything one could need into a small space, Broadway Market puts out awesome sandwiches.”

“This is a wine bar but if you are a member of their wine club, you get a complimentary cheese plate. The wines are great and the service is exceptional. We had Ozzie and he is very wine savvy to help you with your choice. I love a tasting bar that you can also get wines by the glass.”

“During our stay in Yountville for our Napa Valley wine trek last year, we discovered Ranch Market that had some great options for alcohol and sparkling waters for us to take home prior to the 9 pm shutdown for most of the towns restaurants. The decor looked like most local mini-marts and markets outside of the typical chains that are still stuck in the 1970s and 80s: off-white and beige walls, red linoleum floors, knickknacks and tshirts for sale, a deli for ordering sandwiches during the day, fresh fruit and cheeses (and French loaves), other essential grocery and pharmaceutical and some household items, and cold and room temperature beverages, including wine, beer, and booze. I was impressed they had a liquor license to sell liquor such as whiskey. The store assistants were friendly and funny who said, "you definitely need water if you have been drinking wine all day." To which I responded, "yup, doing it all again tomorrow."”

“I bought a bottle of Cabernet while visiting Santa Rosa. I was extremely impressed with the balance of flavor without the tartness of similar wines I’ve had in the same price range.”

“This is a great wine club. I've been a member for about 5 years. I don't know that much about wine, but I know that I like what they send, and I'm learning because the newsletters are teaching me! Good buy. Highly recommend.”

“As I was familiar with this particular store and pharmacy, it was the first place I thought of when I needed to get a prescription for Paxlovid. It was day two of having symptoms for COVID and time was critical for starting this Rx. The pharmacy received my prescription and got it ready promptly and, as promised, gave me a call. I had given them my insurance information over the phone. I asked what my cost will be and they said something like, there should be no cost. When I got there, wearing a mask, doing the final paperwork I was informed, due to some glitch with my insurance there was a $12 balance. I didn't care, I needed to get this. The supervisor on duty took note and said, "That's not right, there shouldn't be any cost." Who was I to argue. The supervisor went to their workstation and started entering or re-entering my information. It took a few minutes, but they came back, saying, "There you go, no charge." I was truly impressed with the above and beyond the usual level of customer service that is so often seen. The takeaway is not that I got my prescription at no charge, it is that the staff showed concern and tried to correct some problem with my insurance. A heartfelt, thank you for your help.PS, the Paxlovid really helped.”
