Don't know where to start. However, we are definitely closing this new account. We just opened. We deposited a check. There was a five day hold on it. That was frustrating but Elizabeth was nice enough to do it after three days. 2 weeks later we deposited the same amount of check from the same bank and they put a 10 day hold on it not including the weekends putting us in severe financial situation. This was way too long. We asked them to please release the funds.We sent them pictures of the clear check from the other bank. We sent them everything they asked and they gave us the hardest time and still would not take the hold off today they won't till 2/20/24 gave us the runaround for the longest time and today they still will not do it. Alexis is very rude and talks people with no manners whatsoever and she does not care what you have to go through. She says "go ahead go ahead" for everything you tell her you're gonna do for the bad customer service, it's really been a horrible experience with this CU. as soon as they do release the funds on February 20 2024. We will never bank with them again.

Why do companies think that pasting the same "your feedback is important to us" response to bad reviews has any effect? You've been getting this feedback for years--often about the same customer service issues--and yet you do nothing to address the issues. You don't add more tellers, you don't train your staff to stop gabbing with each other and service the next customer, you don't stop them from taking breaks when there's a line of five people waiting, you don't make sure your loan agents are actually in the office, etc. Anybody paying any attention can see for themselves the same boilerplate response from you over-and-over again to worthwhile criticisms about your flagging customer service. Empty platitudes like this just confirm for me that your company is morally bankrupt and that getting my banking transferred is the right decision. I dropped my review another star for your sh!tty half-hearted effort to pretend to care. But please, post another "we value your feedback" response.

Sara did such a great job!!! Super friendly and helpful also knows Spanish. Took her time and made me feel like I made the right decision opening an account with them.

Great service from Virginia today at The Brea location. She took her time with me and answered all my questions. They work hard at this branch. It is very busy on Saturdays and they are doing a lot with a small number of people.

Worst bank in existence, go in and two of the 3 employees are helping people. The third hanging out in a office on the side sees that I'm there and just ignores my presence. More people show up do there is now a 10 person line. Lafy I the office with the congratulations balloons finally starts stumbling their way to the desk. Doesn't seem to know what they are doing. Then I learn their system. Is down, which it's always down, everything I come in for a new card the system is down. It's like the McDonald's ice cream machines. Always broken. Clearly it's time to find a bank that at least acts like they care about their customers.

I've gone to the branch various times and different times of the day. always polite and helpful. I guess bases on these other people's experiences they go when all the unprepared customers

The tellers look annoyed behind the desk. Wait, time is always long. The reps in the office never come out to help when the tellers are busy or on the phone. Bad service I don't recommend this bank

I have been with kinecta fcu for over 20 years. The Brea branch is definitely the most helpful branch I've been to so far. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The employees and i know each other by name. That's how personal their help is. The management team is top notch, they hep me with all sorts of issues in a very expedited way. If your're looking for a better bank than what you're dealing with now.... Come on over, we'ld love to have you

The frustration and disappointment with this institution is unreal. Customer service is non existent and you’ll be sent to call holding purgatory for a minimum of an hour. I’ve had better, more responsive service with the VA.In the event you do make it through the nightmare and are able to speak with someone, your request goes unresolved, requiring another trip through call holding hell.This has literally been the scenario every time I’ve had to deal with Kinecta. A simple task such as having daily co-op limits increased should not be an all day ordeal.

Bank manager was extremely unprofessional and hustle , I was withdrawing most of my deposits, she attempted to intimidate me to change my mind on the withdrawal. I can understand her fear from a bank run and her fear from losing her job, but the way she handled the situation shows how incompetent she is as a branch manager. This behavior did not boost my confidence in this bank , on the contrary it revealed her fear from bank runs.

I've been using this credit union for a ling time. It seems their customer service is a hit or miss from just teller services to auto loans. Some are great and some not so much. One of the credit unions that charges you for their checking if you don't meet certain criteria. Will probably be closing this account as I get better rates and service at Navy Federal.

Came in today to make a deposit, I know it's hard to find good workers nowadays but it's still unacceptable the lack of customer service and professionalism. It was nice to not have a line to stand in when I walked in, sat right down to be helped. The teller was leaning back in his chair like he was on a break, asked me what I needed today, I told him just to make a deposit and gave him the money and my drivers license. He got up, counted the money, sat back down leaning back, no interaction except for staring at his computer, asked anything else, handed me my receipt, again with no acknowledgement, I had to reach over and get my own drivers license off of the desk. Customer service was extremely uninviting for a customer. Maybe next time I should apologize to him when I get there for bothering him at work.

I've been in this branch a few times, I really appreciate the help I have received while in the branch, I have had nothing but amazing interactions. Sara Fiene is extremely helpful and she went out of her way to help me with all of my banking needs. 10/10 would recommend this branch !
