Update 12/8: still no cage, I keep getting promised that it’s coming, with an update on where it is in the process then it they go silent. I ordered this cage in late summer and Nick said it would be done in no more than 3 Months. They said they do all their fab in house but on the emails from Ivan it says they are waiting to receive it and do QC. Again, I understand in the fog and busyness of business and production; unforeseen circumstances can happen. I’m just looking for better communication, accountability, and transparency around the entire process especially towards a paying customer.
Update: only after posting this negative review, I received the update that I’ve added. No clear timeline, no sincere apology or explanation; no plans to make this right.
Ongoing, frustrating experience with StudioRSR and their ability to communicate with customers. I have been trying for weeks to get an update on my roll cage I ordered months ago, which is now a month behind the expected completion date.
I am reasonable and understand that they are a smaller shop and fabrication can be delayed; I am disappointed with their ability to communicate with customers. A simple email letting me know that my order has been delayed with an updated completion date could have solved so much for me as I have two upcoming build slots and cross-country transportation coordinated for my rear seat delete.
I still haven't heard back from Nick, and it's been weeks now. I've called (inboxes full), emailed, and messaged on IG; maybe this'll work for a response from them.
If I lived in the state, I would just go down there, but I don't, which is maybe the problem; they are prioritizing in-person customers, which is fine. I understand that. Just give me an update.
Update 1/4/25: wrong cage arrived. My installer was getting everything laid out in the interior and the main top hoop was too tall. After a few days of silence it seems the owner Robert had involved himself. The rep said there’s a tall and short version and they sent the tall, they never asked me what size and I reviewed the order form and email thread. This cage has cost me so much at this point because I’ve missed install windows multiple times, and now extra labor.

I've been beyond impressed with the team at StudioRSR from start to finish. Extremely communicative and truly pleasant to work with, the only thing better than the customer service has been the quality of the final product! The cage fits perfectly and was a breeze to install. It looks absolutely stunning, and the care taken to build the cage is obvious. Looking forward to continuing to work with the team!

My roll cage/seat delete experience with Studio RSR was overwhelmingly positive. From the start Dillon was extremely helpful walked me through the entire build process, lead time, and scheduling. Thank you to the guys at studioRSR for coming through and got my cage landed before wekfest this weekend as promised. cage is beautiful and easy to install. was really impressed with the packaging of the cage. probably took me as long if not longer to unwrap it than installing lol.

I recently got the 4 point roll cage for my BMW M4 F82. Immediately I noticed a difference in the handling of the vehicle. I feels more planted and stable. Everyone there was top notch and was awesome to work with. They took great care of my car. I will definitely come back for future parts to be installed.

Very pleasant experience ONLY when placing my order. Answered all my queries and gave good advice on parts to order. Quality of the roll cages is really good. I’m afraid that’s where the positives end.
I ordered 2 sets of roll cages and 1 brake pads set in May. All were scheduled to be delivered in a month or 2. First roll cage arrived on time. Second roll cage was a nightmare to have delivered overseas. Brake pads never arrived and they’ve been dodging my emails regarding brake pads refund for a few months.
Occasionally they do respond saying “it’s been a few crazy busy weeks with ___ event and we will get after talking to my manager by today.”

These dudes are the best for servicing and overall communication. Just had my 900 hp C63 leave me hanging with a burning smell. Nick and Robert both responded to me on a Sunday morning with solutions on avoiding the whole car burning up. Cannot recommend these guys enough truly. It was 8am on a Sunday lol. Horrible timing but quick solutions.

Been over 8 months since I ordered my cage promised completion of 3-5 months. All they do is make bs excuses, be super vague on updated timeline or ghost you for weeks at a time. At this point all I want is a refund i wouldnt even wanna run such a shit company product anyways. Im gonna just take my L and go buy an auto power cage. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY WILL GIVE YOU FALSE PROMISES AND NEVER DELIVER

I placed an order for an F87 M2C roll cage on 22.05.24, with an expected lead time of 8-10 weeks. It’s now been over 16 weeks, and the company has been extremely unresponsive. They only reply after multiple follow-up emails and never provide a clear or satisfactory update. If you're an international customer, beware! @gtpotomotivindia

ordered two cages back in January of this years one for a 992 and 997 . they said would be ready mid may both got 992 in July and till this date no 997 cage and i call no answer. i email same thing no answer . this point just want my 50% deposit back or a call back say we going to keep 50 % . when they wanted deposit they were calling me like crazy and texting now they ghosted me . badass company

I recently had the 4-pin crank hub upgrade done at Studio RSR and couldn't be happier with the experience. I drove all the way from the Bay Area to SoCal, and it was worth it. Dillon provided excellent service and took great care of my car. The same-day turnaround was impressive, and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. They’ve done all the work on my G80 M3 and I’ve been thoroughly impressed. Don’t hesitate to give them a shout, if you need just about any work done to your BMW, exterior, interior, engine, suspension, they can do it all. A++!
