But I called in and Alicia helped solve it easily and quickly. I needed the package that day and she was able to contact the carrier, Sam, and he said that he could come back to my neighborhood after his deliveries for the day and bring it to me. Alicia was so communicative with me about my options and ways to manage this situation and Sam hand delivered my package to my door at night (it didn't fit in the mailbox) and it was raining. I appreciate this post office so much for getting everything done for me in such a timely manner and going above and beyond.”

I have lived less than 2 miles from this post office for almost 5 years and the only unpleasant experiences with post offices I’ve had was when I was unable to go to this location.Midway City is the most convenient place to live. The post office is laid back and easy going, Midway City Sanitation easily accessible and handle things ins timely manner, the property taxes are lower than average and the Vietnamese community are wonderful. “I came here to get a new passport and I was expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised with how great the service was. They took me a little before my actual appointment time which helped me get out on time. Lloyd was the exceptional employee that helped me through the process. I had no idea what I was doing and he was so patient and kind. He let me retake my picture so I wasn't stuck with a horrible passport photo. He made sure everything was correct and walked me through the expedited process. His other colleagues were also very kind and helpful. “I would like to say that after being passed around by the company I ordered from to try and fix the address they misprinted I ended calling usps and Tony went and physically looked for my package saw that the business only put the numbers of my address and not the street(it was not my fault my confirmation email says I put my full address) he fixed it and had it sent out for the next day mail delivery. Let me tell you that is the kind of service that is stellar. He could’ve easily told me no but instead he went and fixed it even tho it wasn’t their fault that the address was wrong. “I want to say that the Placentia post office was more than awesome, they went above and beyond. Especially Justin. I had a package that was delivered past the deadline, so I wasn't going to be able to get it until the next day, and I was leaving early the next morning. I needed the package for my trip. I spoke to a couple of guys, one being Justin. He gave me his phone # and I gave him mine. I called him two hours after the PO closed.He answered and said they hadn't located it, and asked me to give him some time. Two hours later, he called E to let me know he had located my package, and I could go and get it. I was so impressed. Not a lot of people go above and beyond like that. Placentia post office on Kraemer saved the day. I am so appreciative. not a lot of people would go out of their way like that.”

I went to get my passport done with my boyfriend and we expected the staff to normally be unfriendly due to our past experiences with other post offices. However, the staff at this location were friendly. We also got to check out the cool stamp book which one of the staff members kindly showed us while we waited to complete our passport. Since it's a smaller post office my package tracks faster than the other places. Also, they never give me a hard time when I ask for a receipt. Some post office will not give you a receipt if you have already paid for shipping online. I need a receipt sometimes because the one time that I don't get it my package goes not track at all. So I love this one !”

“It sucks I see reviews here that have to do with people being mad that they have no consideration of time when they show up to do a lengthy transaction like a passport "2" mins before passport transactions end. That of course is if the person even had 2 minutes to begin with. Using reviews to blame people for our own irresponsibility is just sad. That being said, I went in today to ship a package and the front office people were super helpful. I felt guilty for being one of those people who waited till the last minute to ship a xmas item. The cashier was very informative and pleasant.”
