I enjoy shopping at the Stater Bros. on Whittier Blvd in West Whittier. Ever since they moved into the new location, the experience has been fantastic. The store is consistently spotless, bright, and incredibly well-organized, making it easy to find everything I need.
The real highlight, however, is their legendary meat department. The certified meat cutters are true professionalsβalways willing to offer a custom cut or seasoning adviceβand the quality of their ribeyes and marinated meats is simply unmatched by other local chains. The produce section is equally impressive, always stocked with fresh, crisp fruits and vegetables.
Beyond the products, itβs the people that make this store special. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, giving the place a warm, community feel that you just donβt get at big-box stores. Whether I'm grabbing a quick dinner of their delicious Cleo & Leo fried chicken or doing a full week's grocery run, this Stater Bros. never disappoints. Highly recommended!β
βStaff are helpful. They don't always have what's in the ad that's why they're getting a 4 star. Prices on produce are usually lower than others. Today they had the nee doh chick eggs which will make great easter basket treats for the kids. Reasonable prices on seasonal attire. The bathing suit has interior mesh and love the corset back.β
βHeard that there are sometimes many vegan foods to be found, especially chocolate, but sadly didn't find any. Did find 2 other things, so counting a win. (Also an immersion blender and a couple fry pans. We shall see.)β
βThis place has tons of new merchandise, clothes, garden supplies, party favorites, groceries, bicycle equipment, cosmetics, everything under the sun. A every single thing is reasonably priced and good quality. Nice, friendly staff and very clean building. Be careful though. I only went in for 2 small things and ended up leaving with a basket full!β

Always got the best unique snacks at the best prices. Good dairy, kind staff, cleanliness of the store needs work. Most of the carts have issues, people need to stop putting their kids on the cart once they hit over 80 pounds.β

βI'm visiting from the Bay area and I've always been curious of what an Aldi's was like. I guess my first impression was that it was less of a Trader Joe's and more like a Grocery Outlet Bargain Market but cleaner and more spacious.
I no longer feel like we're missing out in the bay after this experience.β

βOne of three Food4Less I've visited in the area and this one has been my favorite so far. A little lacking in the fruit/veg area but the store was clean and the quality of the products was decent.β

βYes, you’re gonna spend a little bit more but for many things the difference is well worth the money. Fantastic quality produce and probably the best market bakery around. Don’t sleep on the rotisserie chicken or pot pie - It’s a bargain for Marys chicken and you’ll realize how bad cheap commodity supermarket chickens are. Huge shout out to the bakery team consistently fantastic. That chocolate Texas cake and warm cookies are sublime.β

βI really enjoy shopping at ALDI in Downey. Itβs one of those places where you go in for a few things and end up finding a bunch of stuff you didnβt even expect. Theyβve got a great mix of meats, snacks, household items, and little treatsβyou can honestly get most of what you need in one trip.
The prices are a big win. You definitely pay less here compared to a lot of other stores, which makes a huge difference.
My only small complaint is that I wish there were more options for fresh vegetables and fruits. The selection can feel a bit limited sometimes. But honestly, everything else makes up for it.
Overall, itβs a reliable, affordable place to shop with good parking and a solid variety of products. I keep coming back for a reason.β

βSuch a cute, quaint store with so many British imports. Right on the corner of Harbor and Wilshire in downtown Fullerton. The store itself looks out into a patio area surrounded by restaurants and seating. Will be back to check out other items later.β
βMy first time visiting this store. Alexandra, Betty and I think her name was Alicia were amazing! I told them that it was my first time visiting them and I found them on Google. They walked my groceries and put them in my vehicle even though I insisted that they would not have to carry my groceries! Excellent customer service and beautiful produce and reasonable prices, especially when produce and groceries are extremely expensive! I will definitely return! They have a customer for life! 🙌💕β
βMy go to grocery store and i love that they close late because sometimes i have an emergency for something i have to make early in the morning so that helps a lot. The only thing is the strawberries and grapes are never in good shape but sometimes theyβre pretty good, wish it was always that way. Other than that i love it.β

βThe people who work here are so nice. I’m here about every other day lol! This is my hang out spot and the ladies who work the register are so sweet. I’m always happy to see them. Feels like I’m on the show Gilmore Girls when I walk in. Would love to see a coffee machine though but still 5 stars. I am kind of bummed that they open at 9am though cause I need to go on a hike today hahaha. Other than that customer service is great and the prices really aren’t that bad. I love down the street. They sell cigs, cigars, snacks, meat. Not sure if they have premade sandwiches though. The other snack and deli shop I don’t like the customer service isn’t goodβ
