The Burbank Animal Shelter provides quality animal control services and works to return lost animals, find loving homes, and control overpopulation. The shelter is organized and unbelievably clean, with no horrible smells. Animals are separated in their own kennels that have access to the outside sun, and water mists help keep the dogs cool. They have plenty of dogs, cats, and a few bunnies. The staff are really friendly, helpful, professional, and kind. There is a very nice, clean large area covered with shade tarps for meet and greets. Experiences with the shelter are described as exceptional and pleasant. People highly recommend this shelter to all who are looking for a pet, calling it by far the best shelter in the area. The shelter also accepts donations of food, cat litter, and old towels for the animals.
We brought in our extra food and unopened cat items after our elderly baby passed away, and we got to see a puppy going to a new home very happy! Staff was patient and efficient.

Tammy is amazing she absolutely deserves a raise it's nice to see people who truly care for cats and dogs as I do so myself will be looking forward to fostering a senior cat soon
