I had a personal training session with Esteban Zaragoza and he was fantastic. He asked what my goals are and devised a 3 month plan for me to reach them. I have a diagnosis of osteoporosis and I could tell he understood the assignment and got me going right away. His method of teaching and demonstrating proper form and explaining to me what areas I must improve (ankles and glutes) was clear and helpful and his great attitude inspired me to improve. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting to work with a personal trainer.

This is a good location! Easy parking, lots of well maintained equipment, nice and clean locker rooms and shower areas, and sauna. The staff was very helpful! I'd give it 4 stars, but the last star is more so due to Crunch's company, which I'll explain below.
If you're a non-resident visiting, and you have the top tier membership that allows you to go to multiple locations, PLEASE NOTE that this does not apply to this location. I signed up in Florida, and upgraded before leaving, and I made sure to ask if I'd be able to go to out of state locations with no issues. I was told I would. Now when I got to Crunch, I was given some grace, and the first day pass was free since I'm still a member. I was told it would be $10 a day after that. It's $25/day pass if you aren't a member at all. I wish Crunch would communicate that in their training of employees so that ppl aren't blindsided when they upgrade and try to go to Cali locations.

They are not crunch fitness and won't take the crunch membership they should just rename it something else they want to charge more if you are already a crunch member.

I have the highest all-inclusive Crunch membership (the “Peak Results” plan) that allows me to use every location. I’ve used it in multiple cities, even internationally in Montreal, Canada, without any issue.
While visiting Burbank, I drove 30 minutes out of my way on vacation to get a workout, only to be told at the front desk that this is a “Signature” location and I’d have to pay $10 extra to enter. This was the first time I’ve ever heard of a “Signature” restriction — it’s not clearly mentioned on Crunch’s app, website, or Google listing.
On top of that, the front desk staff (a younger woman) was very dry and unfriendly. She cut me off when I tried to explain my membership, wouldn’t listen, and repeated that I had to pay $10. No courtesy, no explanation, no option for a one-time complimentary pass since it was my first visit — just a flat “pay or leave.”
I ended up walking away frustrated. If Crunch is going to have “Signature” locations excluded from the all-inclusive package, that needs to be clearly stated up front. And customer service should absolutely be friendlier and more understanding in situations like this.
⚠️ Travelers, be aware: If you’re visiting this Burbank Crunch location, even with the top-tier membership, they will charge you extra.

This used to be a genuinely nice and welcoming place, but everything changed after the new management took over. What once felt warm and inviting has become cold and unwelcoming. The atmosphere is completely different now, and it’s disappointing to see how much the experience has declined.

Tried to see if the gym was right for me and put applications in area to move from LA to Burbank. Got refused to a one day guest pass because I wasn’t local even though I was trying to move in the area. Never known a gym to be difficult. Will not be joining this gym.

The service provided by Alex over at the front desk was amazing, definitely recommend you go to him for all your needs. The gym is looked out for and well maintained however the constant price increase is the main concern here and should be looked into.

The manager in the front is the most condescending piece of work I’ve ever encountered in a customer service environment to think he runs the place and has 0 human skills just repeats the same policies like a robot. Looking forward to when he’s gone. Seems like other people agree too

After being a loyal member at this specific Crunch location for eight years, I have decided to cancel my membership due to an incredibly disappointing experience. Recently, I reached out to the general manager to express my valid concerns about the consistent annual increases to my monthly rate--$10 more each year, despite my long-standing loyalty. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, the manager responded in a hostile, disrespectful, and condescending manner, making it clear that my loyalty meant nothing to them and that the rate would remain unchanged.
My monthly rate had risen to $70, only for me to discover that new members were being offered prices as low as $30 to $50 a month. Is this how you treat a customer who has been loyal to your establishment for years? Rather than rewarding long-term members, it seems this location is more interested in attracting new members while disregarding the ones who have supported them over time.
During our conversation, the manager repeatedly cut me off, was confrontational, and showed a complete lack of customer service skills. This location desperately needs a manager who can handle customer concerns with professionalism and respect, rather than becoming defensive and hostile.
I will be reaching out to the regional manager at Crunch headquarters to file a complaint against this location and specifically against this manager. Take your business to an establishment that actually values loyalty instead of treating you like garbage. Believe the low reviews--they're there for a reason.

I really didn't want to write this review but I feel like it's finally time I give my thoughts. For the 2nd half of July the men's sauna was closed for "misuse of the sauna" when it seemed it was working. For the past week or so the sauna has been on but closed for some reason and it seems this gym is punishing its members for no reason. I was told on Monday July 29th that the sauna was opening on August 1st and I find it strange why they're waiting till then when every time I past by it the week prior it was on but closed which seems like a waste of time. Come August 1st it's working and it's actually hot like it used to be and I have no complaints. Come Friday August 2nd the next day it's closed again for vandalism.......... I really don't know what's going on but ever since the management has changed I've been noticing the men's sauna hasn't been the same as before and has been closed a lot. I really don't understand what message they're trying to put by having the men's sauna while it's still on but it's closed for vandalism for the safety of the members.
