Apparently if you have crunch membership at diff location like van nuys Palmdale you can't come to this one because it's a corporate location But honestly, a crunch membership is a crunch membership.

Would love to give this gym a higher rating considering it costs $60+/month to be a member. Can't do that when basic hygiene and gym etiquette isn't enforced among members, cleaning wipe dispensers are often empty, and the water dispensers are pretty much room temperature. Why isn't the water cold? Why can't they program the TVs to things people want to watch while they're on the cardio machines? Nobody wants to watch infomercials on the elliptical! I only go on weekends but the place always feels understaffed. On the bright side, this is the largest gym in downtown burbank, it's overall very clean, there's a wide variety of machines and equipment, and exposure to psycho meatheads is limited. Still, if someone is making a booty call at full volume while in one the common areas, they should be asked to leave.

This is a nice gym with nice people. My only complaint is that they play the news full time on tons of big screen TVs. It absolutely sucks to workout while being force fed stabbings, shootings, war, and political turmoil. I come to the gym to clear my mind and get away from all that stuff. I would strongly encourage gym management to put something else on: nature shows, classic Friends episodes, really anything else than the horrendous news.

The sales team and managers are rude and creepy, They hit on my friend and. They are scammy. There was a review posted about this that had since been deleted by the gym so writing this again to warn females. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE FOR FEMALES. Be aware. Hopefully this will not get removed.

CRUNCH Can't Run Using Normal Charges Horrible What does this mean? Well, you see a franchise crunch charges 33 bucks a month. But this, this is their SIGNATURE series! Corporate owned which means no profit sharing to the franchise owner. Yet somehow, they charge more, offer nothing upfront as far as specials go, and then also charge a yearly 89.99 "we need this to clean our gym" fee. The manager belittled the franchise and then told me the fee was for cleaning.Odd, the gym I came from in another state was honestly cleaner than this one. So, do tell me how 89.99 keeps your place clean when there was mucus in the drains. Fact is homies, this gym NOT taking a cut from franchises somehow NEEDS to charge more money than the others in the area. As someone who has his own business , has a masters degree and is pretty damn successful, the manager telling me "it's a business fee you wouldn't under stand it" has me coming here to tell him... if you're 40 years old, and running a gym making 65k in a city that requires 6 figures to live even normally, hate to break it to ya chief, but I think maybe you don't get it. The gym offers literally nothing different than the franchises and isn't even as well maintained as them. Maybe when someone with business sense invests into the company they have their name attached and so, clean it better than a corporate one. Lmao dude really told me "we don't seek machine usage we sell an experience"As if the classes make or break the sales. No one is signing up to a gym if there's no machines and which is it now? An "experience fee"? Or a "cleaning fee"?This gym wouldn't stand out amongst gyms if OJ Simpson was doing chest curls wearing the black gloves and had the bronco parked out side, with Cochran spotting him and Kardasian ( not Kim ) finishing a downward dog position in the hot box. Face it man, you tried to justify overcharges because your demographic in the area are used to it. Well I keep my money working for me by spotting a scam when I see it, and not giving in to one simply for the clout of what... saying I workout at crunch signature lolIf I want clout from a gym I'd finish setting up my Raya account I got from when Jonah hill drank one too many bloody Mary's on the set of wolf of Wallstreet and ask Gordan Ramsey for the hookup on how he can be so angry and yet so chiseled. This gym is ... mundane. It wasn't dirty , but it wasn't clean. Well it wasn't 89.99 clean if ya feel me. The nerve of this place to try and scam and charge dumb fees . If you can't keep your business clean withJust your membership profits then you shouldn't be a gym clearly you can't figure out what everyone else has. And if management wants to respond to this, please understand I charge a 69 dollar response fee to keep up this comment and make sure it's clean.

I got into this gym a couple of months ago. I always wanted to be part of this gym because there was something about it that attracted me towards it. I ended up finding out why when I got there. This is not your typical gym where you go there and some have cliques, their usual banter or inconveniences, drama, uncleanliness, and the like.Crunch Fitness Burbank is amazing.People here are super friendly and down to earth. They are approachable and kind. Personal trainers and staff are good people and always treat guests and gym members with respect and fairness. There is never a day I am hesitant to go to the gym and the reason is that I am comfortable enough to show up.There is never an aura of judgement in the air inside the gym, instead it is one big community that is sincerely kind to one another and wanting to improve each and everyday. I am glad I made my decision to be part of this gym.

For the amount of money we pay monthly, on top of an annual "maintenance charge", it would be nice if we didn't have broken glass bottles, nails, cans, and garbage all over the Crunch parking lot (which often remains untouched for days). All the regular members know it's the punks that work out in the evenings. They hang out in the parking lot like it's a drive-in theater. These are the same members that don't rerack, leave weights laying everywhere, and don't flush their own toilets. Management could at least invite Security in the evenings to mitigate the loitering and littering outside. Especially considering how many cars have been broken into at this gym. Who runs this place?! It would also be nice if the air conditioning was turned on when it's 98° outside. Just saying...

Very clean Gym, Great Equipment, The bathrooms are always clean! They also have a Sauna just for women in the bathroom, not just Coed Saunas like some other gyms. Really nice people. Great parking, very convenient to walk right in the gym, from parking lot distance. Love this place ❤️

Current member of Crunch Fitness at another location with supposed upgraded membership to include other clubs nationwide, turns out Burbank is exempt a special regarding this according to them, they still want $10 for a day pass.. to add insult to injury I signed up for the 3 day pass at the Burbank location before walking the mile down because I read early reviews of them being difficult, was emailed approval for a 3 day pass only to be told by the front desk that she still couldn’t allow it because there wasn’t anyone there to approve it,, Should probably consider changing your name if your not actually going to include yourself with the rest of the Crunch Fitness facility’s,,Was told there gym was special because it was cleaner and offered added services the other gyms don’t,.. again, maybe you should consider a name and affiliation change.

I never write reviews but this one takes the cake. This is a “corporate ” Crunch. If you signed up at a franchise Crunch you have to pay an extra $10. When I asked for a guest pass I was denied because of the exclusivity. This is a corporate crunch so there’s “no guest pass.” Even though you can get one online.

Great gym and clean. They have all the equipment for a good workout and not crowded like 24 Hour Fitmess.
