sometimes you're forced to go to Ikea for some unique cheap items. during plandemic it was awful: people chasing you down to take your temperature, managers refusing service because you wouldn't wear an oxygen restricting medical device and claiming you could order online for pickup which was a lie for my items, but two years later still amazed at the nazzi shenanigans. they actually bar you in like cattle now at checkout until you scan your receipt, also preventing shoppers who know what they want in the wearhouse from entering and if you just start scanning items like at Home Depot and get a total to pay, the system starts beeping at you until you answer screen questions, and also upselling fake food at the end when you're finished scanning - used to like Ikea somewhat - now avoid as much as possible.

Nice place, big area. Good quality items. Employees were helpful. A wide selection of affordable furnitures and products.

Usually I love Ikea food, this time however, as my mom was eating, she found a big piece of plastic in her lingonberry sauce. Thankfully she didn't choke on it, but it could've been worse. What if my 2 year old had gotten that in her plate? Or if my mom had choked on it? We reported it and got a refund for her plate only. Which honestly doesn't seem like enough compensation for such a potentially dangerous incident. Needless to say, I'll just buy the frozen components and make my own meatball plate at home from now on.

Inexpensive, low quality furnishings if you're on a budget or just can't afford a better product. They defy low end products in most cases, bordering on disposable. The old saying, you get what you pay for it couldn't be truer. When something is three dollars the cost is actually under $1. Intended to keep you in the store shopping on the various levels.

This used to be a great place to buy houseplants, but there must have been a change in management. Now every time I come here the plants are bone dry and a bit sad looking, and the selection seems to get smaller and smaller. Please water your plants regularly!

Another one star for not letting us enter with a small dog in a sling. It's 2024 and in the middle of a move we had been bringing our dog with us everywhere to furniture and home decor stores. Every store offered a warm welcome until IKEA Burbank. We had no problems in IKEA Carson and saw several customers with their pups. I understand if dogs are not allowed in the cafe.

Dont visit Maria in sofas... she doesnt want to assist you , very rude & hides behind her computer so she wont have to deal with the customers .. Seems like she hates her job !

This store has a weird and toxic smell, like acetone and mulch. I had a headache immediately and felt dizzy when I walked in. We came for the meatballs. Meatballs are good but the lines are long and the workers move at a snails pace. Very frustrating. It was a Wednesday and two adults in front of me ordered two kids meatball meals (kids eat free Wednesdays) and they obviously had no kids- workers did not question them so these people ate free. They did not appear to be poor at all and had shopping bags full of stuff with them. The restaurant is poorly run. Slow, inefficient and incompetent. We did come here to shop last July for college stuff for my oldest kid and the workers were standoffish and didn't seem interested in helping. The blankets we bought smelled musty when we took them out at home and even after washing we couldn't get the smell out. I don't think we will be back.

This place is always packed with people browsing their assortment of products and design ideas for the home. Most staff is friendly and ready to answer all your questions. But mostly, what really draws the crowd is their restaurant. And earlier while I'm listening to the radio there's a poll about the best restaurant coffee and I agree with one the listener opinion IKEA have the best restaurant coffee out there. Aside from the many healthy food options reasonably priced. The restaurant vibe is so family friendly, relaxing and inviting.

IKEA was a prominent furniture store that lots of people shop and dine in.! It's kind of DIY shopping. Unless, you have a question or couldn't find what your looking for not too much representative are visible. I am not really sure what's happening with IKEA are they downsizing too? At the food court area seems they don't have enough people to clean the table and flooring. And their pricing isn't like before and quality's not really durable for the price you pay. And I think they also cut down the lines they carry.!

Was waiting about 20 minutes in line, the light on the # was on at checkout too. When I made it to the front of checkout the guy told me that they were closed and to move to the back of the other line. This is unacceptable. Won't come here again.

This review is for their meatballs - which kids love You can get a meatball sundae at the express counter, which is next to checkout. It has 3 meatballs on top of mashed potatoes and with gravy and jam for $2.5. However, I prefer getting the sides at the restaurant on second floor. You can also ask for gravy and jam. They ran out of jam today tho. I also love their fries. But stay away from their Mac and cheese. It was Mac and sauce (where's the cheese?) and quite mushy. The hot entrees are alright. But would be great deal on Fridays when they are 50% off

My family has been going to IKEA forever since they were at their original space in Burbank across from B&N. Today, we went for breakfast (yes, meatballs for breakfast is a thing), and it was pretty good. They have a really inexpensive breakfast special for less than $3 "the small" and a medium breakfast for less than $6. Crepes seem to be the extra item that makes it bigger, but honestly, they aren't worth it. They're just OK. We walked so much just trying to get back to the exit, we walked almost 3,000 steps before 11 am. Go get your breakfast and steps in at IKEA!

After a couple of years at ikea again.I liked it ! The restaurant was busy like always at lunch. Food was delicious!I gave 4 stars because the soda dispensers were not working besides coke, diet coke and water. They charged me 1.50 per Glas and told me after that the other sodas are out.Edit for January 2024 visit; We really enjoy going to IKEA. This time this experience was unfortunately changed by a rude and apparently very annoyed employee who works in the canteen and serves food. His way of shouting "order"!Not being able to even say a complete sentence and being annoyed if you don't react straight away. The chicken fingers also had a strange taste that made my son vomit. My wife and I tried them too and they tasted weird. That was definitely the last time we ate there!
