Bay Landing is a serviceable hotel that appears to cater primarily to travelers coming from, or going to, nearby San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The staff were excellent from beginning to end, which is one of the big selling points for the location. The provided breakfast had robust options both hot and cold, and there was a steady stream of breakfasters. The room itself was clean, but the decor and furniture were dated, with noticeable wear and peeling wallpaper, particularly in the bathroom. The hotel is located along the SF Bay south of the airport, in an area with a mix of other hotels, industrial parks, and some nearby restaurants. Overall, the additional amenities, quality of service, and relatively decent cost (for the area) make this a nice option for the traveler passing through or the tourist who won't be spending a lot of time in their room. The hotel is conveniently located, offers free parking, and has a plentiful breakfast, making it a good choice for those staying near the airport.

It was all very good until they said that the free shuttle service to the airport did not run between noon and 3 pm.

Lovely hotel, price was good. It's a little tired but don't let that put you off. Staff were super helpful, breakfast was good, rooms are large. Airport bus was very helpful. However, definitely avoid booking through Algotels online like we did, it caused problems. Otherwise you'll enjoy your stay.
