Walgreens is a popular pharmacy and retail store that offers a wide range of services and products. The Walgreens location on the Peninsula is particularly well-stocked, with a huge, well-laid-out store that is easy to navigate. The aisles are wide, the shelves are well-organized, and the inventory is extensive, covering essentials like toiletries, health and beauty items, and household necessities. The store has a plentiful staff, with employees who are generally polite, professional, and helpful when customers need assistance. The pharmacy is well-staffed and efficient, with friendly and approachable pharmacists who provide good information about prescriptions. The store's layout, however, has some drawbacks. The checkout process can be inconvenient, as the cash registers are located at the back of the store, requiring customers to walk a long distance to pay and exit. The checkout staff also seem less well-trained and motivated compared to the rest of the employees. Overall, the Walgreens on the Peninsula offers a positive shopping experience, with a great selection, good customer service, and an efficient pharmacy. The checkout process could be improved, but the store remains a reliable and convenient option for the community.
Always out of stock for medications. Donna the pharmacist is incredibly rude.

I am a doctor and was put on hold for over 25 min trying to leave an urgent message for an ill patient. I was then hung up on, and tried to call back only to wait another 20 min on hold. This is very poor care and effort that reflect poorly on this institution. I will not advise my patients to go here in the future.

This is an exceptionally poorly run business. They don't answer the phone. The lines are long. The service is incompetent. There's no proactive communication on basic issues. The app and phone system are inept. And, to top it off, I've witnessed several rude staff interactions. Truly dismal.
