I have a simple question but no one answers the phone in the Burlingame branch. They say to make an appt but the next appt is more than a month away? It shouldn't be that you have to go in person to get a simple question answered or that you need to wait more than a month to talk to a banker.

Amazing service! I just drove down here to get my car serviced. Was trying to deposit a large check and couldn't via ap or atm so I needed a teller. I went to my local branch (hello, inside a lucky's grocery store...insert eyeroll here) and they're by appointment only! WTAF?! I'm a nurse so I appreciate the Covid precautions by must Daly City is making it HARD to give them my money! Came here? No wait, no lines, super courteous service...I will make the drive from now on! Shout out to Darnell and his manager.

For a respected bank to be closed at 2pm on Tuesday when the hours in the door say Open is not acceptable. Citibank nearby was fully open. But not these guys. Fed up.

Tonight, while my family was dealing with a situation that is not typical, Ivy Chen stepped up and was an amazing help! She went above and beyond, to make sure that my 83 year old mother had her banking needs met 100% and also that she understood every detail of the transaction. Ivy's manager, David Wong helped make sure everything went smoothly and that our needs were met. THANK YOU IVY CHEN AND DAVID WONG!!

Do you want to know why Wells Fargo is always in trouble? I feel like I'm reliving George Orwell's 1984- specifically "doublespeak." So to summarize to cash a check made out to an LLC my wife and I own I had to open a bank account. So I went to Wells where we've been a client over 30 years. "Sorry to cash the check you need a business account." Ok, "what do you need to open and what are the "Fees."? "There are NO fees". Me-- " seriously ?? No Fees?? ( you remember Fees are the lifeblood of banks and Wells was hammered by the Fees for opening countless phony accounts-- for Fees. I say ok-- get my wife will enough documentation to once again prove who I am and agree again despite my bank relationship to let them check me out again. Signed numerous papers and the final one is their summary including loud and clear a monthly fee if I didn't keep $7500 in it ongoing or $10k combined but in Business Account not linking to my personal. I say to him, "excuse me but did you not say there we No Fees?" He replies "Yes" I say, clearly states here it's $14 a month." " How do you reconcile this."? Well all you have to do is keep $7500 in the account and there is No Fee." Sorry but he could have told me this before and when I asked not after my wife and I spent 30 minutes doing paperwork. I may have done it anyway and frankly I expected a fee and asked before doing anything. Bait and switch. These employees are not trained well and now I understand how and why they got in trouble. May not be any better at any other bank so be sure you ask and inspect --

I opened my first checking account here almost 20 years ago, and I'm looking for a new bank or credit union to switch to. Some of my reasoning is because of the terrible practices on the corporate level (creating fake accounts). I completely understand that the individual tellers and bankers are not necessarily responsible for this, but I was at this branch on 12/27/17 around 5:30pm and was appalled by the bankers/tellers yelling across the bank and mocking customers. A female employee was asking her male co-worker to do his "fake smile". Don't get me wrong, I've worked in retail, I've done my share of fake smiling, but I was just really turned off by the whole thing. Then, the male employee goes on to mock a customer's complaint about a wire transfer taking too long. I understand that the job can be annoying, BUT I'M STANDING RIGHT THERE, AS A CUSTOMER!! Yikes...

Nathan Chan was a huge help with our checking account when we neglected to bring our check book from San Diego and decided to put a good faith deposit on a home. Bill Roberts

I've gone into this specific branch twice now to try and cash my check, and the first time I didn't get charged a $7.50 fee, but this time they wanted to charge me. I'm not sure if it's because I don't bank with Wells Fargo personally, but my boss uses Wells Fargo for their business account and our paychecks. I think all employees should have to follow the same guidelines. This came off as very inconsistent customer service to me.

So recently I have gotten some money back from a old airplane ticket that I haven't used that Expedia refunded my money back, but.. It was put on a old account that I owed money on and the bank cleared the debt witch was absolutely fine but then the remaining money that the bank is holding hostage hasn't given me my money back?? An when it comes to seeing if it has been released into my account the "stories" being--- first it will be in your account, Wed then it will be on Thurs that was a week. Over all! I honestly don't know when I will receive the money and the customer service bankers at the Wells Fargo in Burlingame on Burlingame Avenue have no idea when or where my money is?? No clue?. Worst bank I have ever dealt with..

Best customer service I've received so far, I highly recommend this branch. I've been banking with wells for 8 years and Have Never been assisted like I was here at this branch. Great friendly people, great customer service, Andrew Mac is by far one of the most helpful bankers I've come across, Christina reffered me to the branch and I'm glad she did. I am one happy customers 5 star service. Highly recommended if you need banker assistance.

While the lines are occasionally slow, the staff is excellent. I recently had an issue with my online accounts and came into the branch to sort it out. One of their bankers quickly assisted me, and spent an hour not only resolving my original issue but also helped me set up my accounts online. He gave me his business card in case any additional issues came up. I was very pleased with their service, and would recommend Wells Fargo to anyone seeking a new bank in the Burlingame area.

So I came here to deposit cash in the ATM machine - and I'm sure that everyone has that "what if" about machines eating money. Well, I'm here to tell you it can happen!! Put in my 4, $100 bills (2 newer and 2 older), machine popped out 3 (1 newer and 2 older) of them & my card. Uhmm... Okay? Put my card back in to ensure my $100 was credited to my account, most definitely not. Well lucky me this is on New Year's Eve, banks closed New Year's Day. So I called the 800 number and opened up a claim. I called the branch today to ensure everyone is informed about what happened that this girl was so rude, refusing to let me talk to a manager and tell me only the 800 number can help me. I understand if the manager really can't help me - but you don't have to be so rude!!! So now I have to wait 7-10 business days to even hear back if I will get my $100 back. I will guarantee all accounts will be closed if I don't!
