California Suites Motel Calexico is right in the heart of Calexico. The rooms are decent, very large, clean, and comfortable, though a bit run down. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The location is good. While some details like towels or curtains could be lacking, and some rooms feel small, it is considered exceptional for the money. The hotel is clean and well stocked. It is also dog friendly.
Decent rooms but a bit run down. Tarnished mirror in the bath, which is small enough that you can almost brush your feel in the sink while sitting on the toilet. No outlets at the night stand. Could be much better with just a little loving care.

Rooms nothing special but clean enough. Ppl running it were good. Had vehicle problems so I was stranded in Calexico. I walked for 3 days.

Remembering that all of life is relative, this place was exceptional for the money. Pleasant lady at the front desk. The room was clean and the location was good for us. The towels were a bit lacking and the curtain wouldn't shut all the way because of the rod but, all in all, very good!
