John is a great and very knowledgeable dude. He also won't just sell you anything. Seems keenly interested in the wellbeing of his livestock after it leaves his store.

Just moved from LA and already found my family's favorite Pet Fish Supplier. Excellent selection, service, knowledge and greatly appreciated advice. I recommend visiting on Fridays as that's Fish Friday when John & Jenny Restock.
