“I've been a regular customer of Paws in Redlands for several years now. They carry Hound & Gato, my cats' favorite brand of wet food. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, carrying a full selection of both dog AND cat food, toys and health supplements. They have several store cats who also fulfill the vital roles of greeter and purchase inspector/approver, including Lenny (the black cat) and Alice (the calico cat). Some other reviewers have commented that prices are higher at Paws. Compared to big-box chains like PetSmart and Petco, this may be the case; however, the brands of pet food carried tend to use fewer harmful ingredients, likely leading to a better quality of life for your pet with fewer health issues. I think of this as a long term investment in my cats' health and spending my money to support the local economy.”

“This is the only place we get our dog food. They sell food for animals that is actually good for them...We buy the Zignature brand. They have a rewards system to earn points for free bags of food. We've been going here when it used to be Furry Face.”

“I highly recommend Pet Empire and dog training with Javier! The store offers a great assortment of products and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They are very knowledge about dog diet, health, and overall animal care - I have confidence that their product offering is vetted and good for my pup. After one session with Javier, I learned the foundational principles for behavioral/relationship training with my pup to move beyond the treat-motivated training that we had been taught elsewhere. “Uptown Pets is a great local Pet Shop and supply store in upper Yucaipa, the entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly and they care about finding you the right pet, or the pet supply item you may need, they assisted with helping my family select a pet hamster, they make sure the animals in their care are properly socialized with people before they are sold to customers, unlike the big box pet stores, you end up getting a friendly pet that you don't have to worry about biting the kids. Great selection, Great staff, 5 Stars across the board. Thank you, Uptown Pets, for a great experience.”

“i've come here for years, up until recently It was the only local pet store, and my visits have been extremely uneventful so far- but Chris was running the register tonight and he has been one of the friendliest most easy-going customer service representatives I have dealt with anywhere. he was fast and extremely thorough. Instead of a meaningless exchange, he used that opportunity to be extremely friendly and informative. It didn't take the checkout process any longer than it normally would, but he certainly made it impactful. I was very impressed, and where I was on the fence about taking my business to the newly opened competitor across the way, he changed my mind in hopes that I would see him more often, because of how great he is at his job.”

“I love coming to Petco. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable of the products and services. Great prices, and if you have the Petco App, you can save lots of money.The only downfall are the lines backing up. I think Petco needs to have 1 more cashier or make sure the staff responds rapidly to any lines backing up.”

“It's not the store but the groomers themselves that create a positive or negative experience. Tikka is a 95 lbs handful. He is a long hair GSD so there is matting issues. He also isn't nice to other dogs and definitely has opinions. They took him in, got him spotless... (note that in the picture he went rolling at the park and had a fight with a leaf pile after his bath because... Being clean wasn't his idea .) They got his nails, cleaned his ears and even clipped down his private areas so he could have less surprises caught in his fur. They did great, treated him exceptionally well and handled his opinions. In fact Tikka liked them. I highly recommend them. Again it's not the store but the staff and this group of women are great.”

She has always done an excellent job and has always made sure to keep me updated on any issues with my pet.
