“Where to begin! We were referred to On The Lamb by a friend who has a three year old Border Collie. My husband is a runner and wanted a companion to run and hike with.
We picked up Arcade, our new Border Collie on May 10. Before picking her up we went a couple of times to visit all of the pups that were in her litter. Robin was extremely accommodating and responsive to our many texts and emails.
I highly recommend On The Lamb if you are wanting a Class A bred Border Collie or if you are looking for training.”

“I'm not from around here but we came to visit family stopped here to buy food for a carne asada. Meat Costillas and chicken was really good veggie were good but a little pricey compared to Aldi. Will come again for the meats but not the veggies.”

I heard these guys are the best they our middleman for a small farms raising the best livestock in Ventura and surrounding areas. They also process game. “Best .. I mean the best Carnicería in town. My parents have been going here for over 36 years. Since they came here from Mexico. The meat is fresh and it always is kept clean. The chorizo sold here is like no other. The flavor is amazing with the right hint of spice. I'm a little sad the changed the type of meat as it is a lot fryer now. I have meant to speak to the owner but haven't had a chance. They are very friendly and would be open to the feedback, especially for loyal customers. I highly recommend getting meat here. They'll even chop it up for you if not too busy and you ask. Family owned and operated too!”
“I ordered food from the kitchen two dozen of enchiladas of carne asada. And some refried beans.They were delicious. I bought them for a group event and they were a hit. So much the host of the house asked me to order them again for a different event. The food is very authentic. Very nicely packed generous portions. They have never disappointed me.”

“Great service! Family camping near by and we stopped in for some pre marinated chicken and beef. They took great care of us, the meat was fresh and the marinades were perfect. We will be back next year to stock up for the annual camp out.”

“Bueno lo primero que voy a opinar es que el personal de está tienda es muy amable pero en el precio de varios productos están muy elevados ya que al comparar ahí en la misma tienda es un precio con algunos centavos menos pero con la misma marca así que si necesitas algo de urgencia es buena opción pero sabiendo que va a costar un poco mas”
“My husband and I love the fresh, hot turkey carnitas from their deli. It's mainly the only reason why we shop there. We will be ordering a couple of pounds for Thanksgiving. It's especially become our annual tradition. It's also an excellent alternative and very economical to preparing an entire turkey for a small family! The most difficult thing for me to remember is to be there prior to 7p.m.; as afterwards they begin to do their deep cleaning prior to closing for the night. I can appreciate the updated atmosphere with the inclusion new tables. Even though I don't speak Spanish, the staff are always friendly and helpful.
The only thing that I don't like is that the non deli lines have been insanely long and difficult to navigate around in the evenings and on weekends. I'm a wheelchair user. I've often been frustrated that those lanes are generally closed when the signs indicate that they should always be open.”
