“Good for one night stay. Room is ok, not very very clean with lots of dust all over the lamps and other surfaces. Mold in the bathroom that I told to the manager about but the next time I visited I had same room and same mold. I concluded no one cared about making it better and safer. The bed was very good, the breakfast scarce. Good for a one night stay. And out of two times stay there they never mentioned a swimming pool that is in the photos.”

“Okay, this place is absolutely adorable and I am so happy we booked our stay here! I found the GlenMorey House randomly while looking for affordable hotel options during my stay as a vendor for the local Renaissance Faire in South Lake Tahoe. Everything else within an hour of the event was overrated and overpriced. This Bed & Breakfast is absolutely wonderful and way better than any hotel I could have booked. A beautiful historic Scottish home with a lovely wooded outdoor space surrounding it. The rooms were cute and whimsical in decoration. Nice amenities and common areas to sit and relax. We especially loved the breakfast each day that was hand delivered to our rooms on a tray with juice and fruit bowls as accompaniments. My husband is vegetarian and the owners were happy to accommodate for his dietary needs. If we ever make our way back to Placerville California, this will be my first choice of a place to stay!”
“We rented out the venue and rooms for our 100 person wedding on April 12th. The venue and rooms were very affordable and made for the most stunning pictures! Robin and her team do a lot to help with the wedding prep, day and are very flexible for pre wedding set up and post wedding clean up. If you want a good wedding venue, I highly recommend The Seasons B&B! It should be booked every weekend of April - everything is in bloom! I booked the Shakespeare Club next door for the reception, although it is big enough to do the ceremony and reception at The Seasons.
The rooms are so cute inside and it made for wonderful pictures and memories. There are so many special touches throughout the rooms, you really have to see it for yourself.
Robin is so accommodating and puts a lot of care into the breakfast! The Keish was delicious. It was paired with organic fruit and yogurt, plus some fresh apple cake from apple hill. It is such a fun place to stay if you like gardens and local history. We will be staying there again! Thank you Robin!”

“Beds are comfortable and the noise level from hwy 50 is low. Very convenient location if you are working in the area temporarily. There is food, fuel, and many other stores within a minutes drive. If you like Deli's, you have to try Beach hut Deli and its walking distance”
“I have been staying here a few nights, and I've got the chance to sleep in their new rooms! I've actually slept in the old rooms too for a while and they did a really good job renovating. It has a new modern look to it. Bathroom is clean, room is spacious, and the beds actually feel like a best western mattress instead of their old spring mattresses. James and Sarah, the new managers, are nice people and thrilled to change things up. They are still in the phase of renovating each room but they are getting there. They do plan on redoing their wifi soon and networking.
I guess one peeve on mine is my towels and garbage don't get changed out every other day like the previous owner. Which to me is good in a way because they respect your privacy and your things. If you ask for a change out, I'm sure they will be happy to do it.
I'm giving this a good review because they really did go above and beyond with their renovations, and if you stop by, ask if one is available!”
“What a gem! This is a sweet little stopover with the best pool in Placerville. The owners are lovely and this motel is on the quiet end of town. Prices are very reasonable. The rooms are family friendly and the owners are dog friendly. Nestled in the pines, this is a nice place to bring the kids and it is close to everything.”

“Our stay at the Best Western Plus Placerville Inn in Placerville, CA was a fabulous experience. Check in was a breeze, as we had done most of that on the app. The person at the front desk made us feel very welcome, and showed us that the quickest way to get to our room was through the pool area. The pool area was very inviting. More than once, we saw workers trimming the hedges and making sure everything was perfect out there. We noticed the same attention to detail in keeping the breakfast area stocked. Our room was beautifully made up, and when we visited the front desk the next day, we received the same cordial treatment as when we checked in, but from a different employee. We deduced that friendliness and helpfulness is the culture there. We can't say enough good about this hotel. We will definitely be back when we need to stay in Placerville again.”
“Loved Loved Loved this extraordinary beautiful place to stay. We went on a day trip to Sly Park and it was getting dark and we were tired so decided to spend the night and found this most awesome place to stay. Clean, comfortable and friendly. Because it was from 1800s wondered about haunting spirits, but the vibes were all good. Happy spirits and welcoming atmosphere. Def coming back. ?????”
