My daughter has attended archery, fencing and horsemanship camps with this group for several years, since she was quite young. She has always loved their programs. Now a high school student, she has decided to pursue archery. She had such a great experience in their one week camp - we will be continuing with their archery program!

My daughter has been attending archery summer camp for more than 3 years and she really loves to go there. This year she attended to the advanced archery summer program and she learned so much. Coach Dan is very knowledgeable with the topic and teach kids the archery techniques and rules as well as how to be responsible with their equipment and respect others. Coach Dan was very diligent communicating with parents by email and phone and setting expectations before camp started. Because of such positive experience my daughter definitely wants to continue with archery.

Not sure what to say other than thoroughly disappointed. I registered my child for their week long Archery Arcade camps via Los Gatos Saratoga Rec department. I received confirmation emails and my credit card was charged. While driving to the camp this morning for the first day and less than 10 minutes away, I received a call from LGS Rec saying Cal Sports Club also released registrations and the camp was full. Cal Sports Club informed LGS Rec that if we arrived in person to the facility, we would be turned away. LGS Rec informed me that Cal Sports Club called to inform them the morning of the first day of camp and not beforehand so LGS Rec could properly notify families of the cancelled registrations. I tried calling Cal Sports Club while driving as their website said BOOK NOW for Archery Arcade Camp but the phone went right to voice mail multiple times. Reading previous reviews, it appears this unprofessionalism is par for the course. I will be looking elsewhere for camps and archery experiences for my children.

No. Student health and well-being is not a priority at this establishment sadly. No lock on girls single restroom, no water refill station (a must for physical activity facilities), no front desk person to field questions or concerns.

PARENTS! Do not send your children here! Ask for certification from coaches...yeah, nothing up to date! The owners do not care about your children, otherwise they would actually seek out qualified instructors. Don't expect them to learn anything. They just want your money. They have no protocol for injuries and didn't even have first aid for my child who was injured because she was given improper equipment. My children as well as her friends begged to not return to this dump. The owner Dan is a racist and who singled out my kids for speaking another language. Don't blame others for your ignorance -- maybe they would have felt comfortable speaking English around you if they actually enjoyed their time here. There are plenty of great training centers in the area that value proper instruction as well as teaching good sportsmanship to students. Please please please do your research so that your children can actually learn in a safe, healthy environment that embraces differences rather than putting each other down at such a young age. UPDATE The unprofessional owner Dan is accusing me of being another business and is trying to threaten me. See how desperate he is to hide the truth about his business. A legitimate business would not respond this way. I stand by my original review.

My daughter has learned archery for a couple years. She loves to go and I like couch Nic and Chris, too. I think communication with staffs in here is getting better. I am impressed I got answer back very fast.

This place has no communication with you unless there are some camps to announce. Generally owners are pretty rude when you contact them. They don't seem to care what so ever.

BAD COMMUNICATION My son signed up for archery camp through the parks and rec dept. and was looking forward to it for weeks! The day finally came, and I drove a very excited boy to a CLOSED facility. When I contacted one of the owners, Daniel, about it, he was extremely apologetic (even though it was really the parks and recs fault!) and offered us a free session (including a full refund!). Great, right?! WRONG! When I eventually went in to fill out paperwork and set up for the free session, the OTHER owner, Ania gave me the second degree about what EXACTLY happened with Daniel. In fact, she asked me for proof of my e-mail conversation with him. When I told her it might take several minutes for me to fish through old emails on my phone, she bluntly said, "I'll wait!". Feeling like I was on some kind of trial, and very "suspicious" to her, I eventually found the email thread and showed it to her. Reluctantly, she told us we could start the coming weekend with PROOF of the original receipt from the parks and rec. when we originally signed up. Clearly, the emails between her partner and I didn't hold any weight. *sigh* I go home and hunt down an old receipt from months before and print it out to include in our paperwork. Saturday comes and....AGAIN I take an overly excited boy to his archery classes, only to find the building is CLOSED!!! The doors were locked and there was a sign saying they decided to close for the weekend (see photo). Unbelievable! Bottom line... Daniel seems like a very friendly and nice business person. Ania has ZERO bedside manner and treated me as if I was some sort of trickster trying to get away with something. ...and the company clearly has communication issues. Perhaps they are good instructors, but I wouldn't know. Fool me once... Well...they fooled me TWICE. :-(
