Beautiful facility, but there's some greedy inappropriate usage of this public community center, that was built and maintained with our tax dollars! The place charges unethically high usage rates, even to nonprofits. Which has resulted in much of the facility sitting vacant, for decades in an area with high demand for facility usage. This faceless greed, has robbed the local South Bay community of all the enrichment the place was built for.The few vendors who try to survive these gouging prices, are barely making it, no matter how popular and full their programs or classes are. Most won't even try to navigate the corruption and nonsense. Their insurance policy requires routine, or even one time, event vendors to buy an insurance policy that states that the entire government of Campbell must be covered under it! I've never seen a more shady contract in decades of renting from community centers. It's really disgraceful that such a well designed and built center sits mostly wasted, paid for by a community that really needs what could be offered here.Again: The rates charged are not in legal accordance, as they violate the exact verbiage that the public's tax dollars were agreed to be used for. This has been going on for decades.Whoever has been the government leadership and decision makers involved in leasing this space, should be relieved of their duties. As they're corrupt and failing the community paying for this facility and who it was promised to.

This review is for the lessons held at this community center. The worst experience ever! I would like to warn everyone regarding a situation I am facing.I bought adult lesson tickets for a particular class. We have to buy 1 month ticket together which is usually 4 lessons (it is cheaper to buy together) otherwise buy individually each lesson class as flexi(it is expensive almost double price of per lesson class). Now the refund policy if you miss a class is that you have to inform 5 business days prior, (so you are not allowed to have a fever which can spike up any time right , viral fever can appear suddenly right). The individual instructors who take the lesson actually understand and want to help but there is Lauren council who governs the Campbell community and they have this rule thatEither you inform them 5 business days ahead that you won’t be able to make it to the class or you just miss lesson , lose your money. They even call you over the phone to make you feel bad about yourself acting as if I am breaking a law.I had registered for a class and I bought 4 tickets together and I miss lesson and I was told I cannot get refund neither can I attend another make up lesson, which is okay because the council thinks their laws are way above a person’s convenience. But since I have 3 more lesson tickets and I have informed them that I cannot make it for the other 2 lessons, informing them timely (the ridiculous 5 day business rule) and still I am told I cannot get refund.I just don’t understand why? 4 classes tickets is not cheap.I now understand why there are so many tickets left for Popular lessons in this community. No one would purchase lessons tickets if there is no flexibility. My personal experience is true and I have all correspondence emails.Makes no sense whatsoever! Avoid this place. This review is for my experience relating to the lessons being held at this place. So disappointed ! So unless you want to lose your money for no reason do not enroll for any classes as there is no flexibility. You are not even allowed to fall sick . Asking a sick day off at job is way easier than rescheduling or getting a refund for prepaid lesson here !UPDATED:After multiple emails I got my refund. So at least thanks to refund.

This facility offers a wide range of activities, from fitness classes to art workshops, and there is truly something for everyone. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the center itself is clean and well-maintained. The only downside is that some time some of the classes are quite full and it becomes a bit difficult to get a spot. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend the Campbell Community Center as a great place to stay active, learn something new, and meet like-minded individuals in the Campbell area.

Clean space in a safe area with facilities for a huge range of activities and sports. There are drop in sports after work hours which is great, and open to the public too. The online sign up system is pretty straight forward and prices are reasonable.

it’s cool and i was enjoying my walk but the whole thing got ruined after this man wanted to completely violate me by aśśau|t!ng me. this wh!t3 man decided to run into an @z!4ñ woman, śm@ck their arm around, then turn around and yell “YOU’RE IN MY WAY” because they think they own the place. how about add signage so people know where to walk and run (to mgmt?) thanks. no one else had an issue except this male. people were running on the outer lanes no issue. don’t run into people, literally @sś@û|tïñg them and try to get people in formation. a whole b bro. you have this man trying to dominate women and p0|!c3 the place like they’re doing something. it will get gh3tt0, stop playing around. know how to talk to ppl and there won’t be an issue. trying to run someone over by yelling words while you have earphones in is not getting anywhere.EDIT: This platform is hiding the photos and videos so I’ve posted them on Y3|p as a safety measure for the public

Honestly, things were fine at first. I was walking, enjoying the scenery, and taking in my surroundings. Even though it was cold and raining, I was enjoying my walk. The whole experience was ruined when some random man wanted to &śś&ü|t me.

Campbell community center really pulled through. We booked the Mary Campell room because rain was forecasted pretty much every day of the week of our daughter's birthday party. Make sure you reserve a room at least 10 days prior to your event, btw. We reserved it just in the nick of time. You can take a tour prior to submitting any payments, however, we were unable to do that given the recent storm. The website does have pictures of each room available for reservation, so that's incredibly helpful. I highly recommend the Mary Campbell room since it's directly across from the main parking lot and restrooms are right around the corner. It's a perfect size for a birthday party. The cost is pretty high per hour, but if you are a Campbell resident, or it's for a nonprofit, it's a bit cheaper. Unfortunately, we didn't belong to any of those categories lol. But, it was worth it given the rain. Definitely gave us a peace of mind. Oh, I definitely recommend calling after you submit the room set up page since there seem to be some tech issues either on my end or their end. The people I spoke with from the Campbell community center were friendly enough. Will definitely consider reserving a room in the future.

Good facilities, best for recreation, and useful for working out.I have been here often for running and body weight training. The place is spacious with standard running tracks including football field, the exercise equipment and a good size amphitheater. And it is cleaned. Many local people such as athletics, seniors and kids like to come here in the evening since this place is the best for family to have sport activities together. And no worries for parking, there is plenty space, except for the special event day.

Use the track weekly. Recently maintained and great place to walk/run. Bathrooms are open. Tuesday's can be a little sketchy with a large bicycle crew that shows up approx. 6pm weekly. Errant bike riding all over the lot, hanging out with drug & alcohol use.

I am a runner, so I really appreciate the lit track. Actually, I don't really run. I walk the track. OK, fine. I don't use the track, but I drive by it often on the way to Taco Bravo. Anyway, I do use the Campbell Community Center because they are housing the Campbell Express Library as they remodel the one at City Hall. And I love to read. Well, I don't read that much, and I'm not sure what vociferously even means. Actually, I don't read much. Fine, I just get the books to use as makeshift tables to eat my tacos. But, it is a cool site. It used the house Campbell's only high school. In 1985, it became the site for the parks & rec's classes and services, with banquet spaces and office spaces to rent, the Heritage Theater (which has hosted Billy Ocean, Leann Rimes, and the county's Teacher of the Year event), and the park, which has a football stadium and bleachers, fitness zone, skate park, picnic tables, about 800 parking spaces, year-round heated pool, 4 tennis courts, 3 handball courts, 2 gyms, and a partridge in a pear tree.

I'm a runner, but my work hours necessitate having to run after dark sometimes. The Campbell Community Center is an ideal place for running, not only because it's well lit at night, but also the environment is quite nice, clean, and feels safe. The track wrapped around the grassy field is made of rubber material, yet sturdy and easy to run on... As a frequent runner I can say that this track minimizes leg pain compared to running on concrete. One lap is about a quarter mile. Plus after dark, there were still a lot of people out, using the track and staying active, about 50+ people on a weekday evening, including couples and families. It didn't feel too crowded though. There are 5 lanes, and signs posting that runners use the inside lanes and slower people use the outside lanes (though not everyone reads or follows instructions). They have a full station of exercise equipment, and even the bleachers are used to run on... everything I would need for a good workout in one place. There's also a giant parking lot, so it's really convenient. I really appreciate the free facilities they offer to the public, especially the track, but there's also a skate park, multiple public restroom buildings, picnic benches and tables, and of course indoor space.
