UPDATE
First Bank reached out to me and reimbursed the penalty fee for the late property supplemental taxes. They also admitted fault and apologized for the miscommunication. I’m changing my review and increasing the stars because of this new development. This instant does not make up for all the hardship they caused and unprofessionalism before the Mortgage was closed.

Horrible experience from pre-real estate purchase all the way to months later. Customer service gives wrong financial advice and they refuse to accept their fault in issues that have consequences in people’s lives. I would look around more if First Bank is the bank you’re planning to do business with. Save yourself some money and health.

While working on a mortgage pre-approval apparently the loan officer pulled 3 hard credit report on my credit instead of a soft one for pre-approval and he didn't mention it, this caused my credit score to drop from 740 to 680, which made it even more difficult for me to get pre-approval from somewhere else. In addition that his process and approach were completely unacceptable. For example, he provided 3 pre-approval on Word documents and to my real estate agent directly and not me, and I had to ask for it. I won't recommend this bank for mortgage applications.

been going here 4 about 6mos now, today i went and deposited my payroll, normally i dont look at my receite it gives you, BUT today i did, WoW, just seen that my pin # was on it??? WHATS UP w/THAT??? use to give it 4 stars. but now maybe 3
