this used to be my favorite autobody shop. Blake was excellent in the past. I contacted them about repairs to my car in July and Teresa emailed back-and-forth with me for photos and then I never heard back. I followed up with her three times and she never responded so I went elsewhere. It’s a bummer but I guess they’ve gotten large enough to not care. I’m not sure. But if you can get them to respond they are a good shop

I took my 2020 crv in for to fix my front bumper due to previous hit in run and I searched all over San Jose and could not find body shop I trust until found look auto body shop I spoke with Joel and without hesitation he gave me best help and advice for my vehicle they fixed my car and it looks like I bought it new on the lot they did a such a great job that I have to write this review

Extremely pleased - I had damage to my rear bumper and was paying myself rather than using insurance. Blake, the owner, said he had special sympathy for those paying themselves. He was true to his word. He helped me understand my options. He found me used parts and the repairs look as good as new! There was an issue he hadn't foreseen, which they handles without charging me more.

They came recommended by a good shop that services my car. Needed some paint correction, windshield replacement among a few others.
After a lot of back and forth, they ended up declining doing the job as I didn't want to repaint half the car for a few rock chips, and they refused doing smaller repairs.
After doing the repairs in various shops, I ended up needing a repaint after all, reached out again, and they declined.
Don't waste your time with them.

I took my Subaru Outback here after a front end collision because they were recommended by AAA. Vivi provided great customer service throughout the process and communicated effectively. Their team was quick and they did a great job on the repairs and body work. Overall I was very happy with my experience at Look.

Original review and repairs are from 2021. It appears my review on Yelp is hidden. Here I am leaving the identical review on Google.
Now about 3 years after the repairs were preformed to my vehicle by Look Auto Body and Blake V's team. The repairs have had time to show the quality of their workmanship.
I'll keep it simple and straight to the point, unlike the original review.
1. I felt very discriminated against when speaking with Blake's latin assistant, Pedro (Mind you, I'm also of latin descent, however I believe my age had something to do with how I was treated). I personally saw how they treated other clients, however I did not receive the same level of professionalism when I spoke with the assistant. The rapport, mannerisms and inability to follow through with what was discussed are a few things I'll list that gave me this impression.
2. Engine work performed on my vehicle may have damaged the engine. Clicking/Knocking noise was never present prior to my accident and prior to being in the hands of Look Autobody. Evident by their "in house mechanic" not knowing how to work on a Subaru Vehicle. Ultimately, Blake paid a Subaru Dealership to properly install new belts after Look Autobody's mechanic improperly installed them which may have been the source of the audible damage to my engine. Obviously Blake will never accept this scenario.
3. Rust found on frame shortly after receiving the vehicle back after repairs. I brought these to Blakes attention immediately and they "addressed it", as they should have as they claimed to have "replaced" them, however shortly after they "addressed" my concern the same rust spots on the frame appeared.
4. SO. MANY. WASHERS. used to align body panels. Absolutely atrocious work. Additionally, when opening my driver side door there is contact between my door and fender. I am also unable to close my engine hood due to misaligned frame. RUSHED, obvious signs of rushing a repair even after having my vehicle in their possession for 3 (THREE) months, extremely poor workmanship.
I strongly believe Look Auto Body is not qualified to work on Subaru vehicles simply based on my experience. I decided not to remain in contact with Look Auto Body as they treated me extremely unprofessionally and I fear they will cause more damage to my vehicle If I opt to return.
Updating this review to a 1 star after seeing Annie L.'s Experience on Yelp; Please read it. It puts to question my own personal safety, however I have recourse if Blake opts to put in practice the same tactics he had done with Annie L, with me.
The new negative reviews since I left my original review in 2021 also shows the type of character Blake is; Please be vigilant and question whether you should patronize this business after thoroughly reading through the genuine negative reviews that have not been hidden yet.
Lastly, one thing Blake mentioned, verbatim, during our initial in person meeting was;
"Your'e probably not going to have this car in a few years *anyways*."
Which to me, essentially translates to, our repairs should only last a few years. Tread lightly.

I've had to take my car to other body shops before but nothing compares to Look Auto Body and I will only be bringing it here from now on. The manager Vivi provided amazing service and made the entire process so quick and easy. She took care of reaching out to my insurance when needed and had thorough communication with me as well. On top of this, my car came out looking better than it did even before the accident had happened. Upon receiving it back from the shop it was incredibly clean and even had tire shine put on. A very happy customer, I'd recommend this body shop to anyone

I got rear ended and needed some work done on my RAV4, Joel was so helpful and worked with my schedule for drop off/pick up. They were even able to deliver my car to my home at no charge since I lived close enough. I would definitely come back here/would recommend the shop to others.

A+ 100% the best body shop in Silicon Valley. Fair price with fast turnaround. Dont make the mistake and go to anyone else. Beautiful office and the kids love the fish tank.

I brought my car in and was helped by Joel. The bumper had a few scratches, one deep and a few light ones. Look Auto Body buffed and cleaned most of the scratches free of charge! Thanks Joe for being super helpful.
