My first impression was negative when they have distancing rope around their counters so you cannot approach them. I was clearly confused, so a bit asked if I have a question. I asked for a 4" heat exhaust flange for the duct going through the sheetrock ceiling coming from my hot water heater. He guy said he had never heard about it but I could talk to his partner. Same question to the next guy said "I have never heard of this". So, I asked for 3/4" CPVC for the overflow drain to replace a flexible copper line. He said "I have no idea. I'd have to go look at my heater at home. You'd need to talk to a plumbing specialist." Dumbfounded, I asked "Aren't you guys supposed to be specialists?" He replied "Yea, but no!" I would not recommend going here unless you are only price shopping. These guys have no clue what they are doing!

Went to RV Cloud today. Haven't been there since my last remodel six years ago. Wow! Talk about a change for the worse. I didn't even recognize the place. It looks like it already went out of business. There was only one worker, and he answered my question quickly. No, they don't sell solid surface shower walls or pans. I think they probably do sell them. However, I already know I wouldn't order from RV Cloud. I'd be worried they will close before my order arrives. This was a sad day. It used to be a good place.

Very depressing place - general attitude is we do you a favor. There is no one at the counter and the only guy there was blatantly rude. His answer to any of my requests was no. I walked out totally dissatisfied. No guidance, nothing! Came to the wrong place.

I've been going to this place periodically for 20 years. Seems like it's just getting worse and worse. Today was my last day. I'm tired of leaving and regretting having wasted my time going there in the first place. Ropes, empty shelves, terrible customer service and way overpriced retail items is what you'll find here. Avoid the negative experience, spend your money elsewhere.

Employees are consistently gruff and unhelpful every time I go in. Found a new plumbing supply store farther north and don't think I'll be back to RV Cloud.

Well for all of you out there that posted bad experiences with this company you'll be happy to know there in a couple weeks they will be closed down for good. This information comes to me directly from inside employee I can't say that I didn't see it coming I did think it would happen a long time ago this place has been going downhill since the 1990s I worked for this company a total of nine years out of a 15 year. The first stretch which was five years back into mid 80s when this copy was a thriving major plumbing supply house for the entire bay area five delivery trucks driving all over the Bay Area and Eastbay delivering material off for construction sites close to 50 employees and thriving so busy that you could start your day off at 7:30 next thing you turn around you're already at your break time you blink your eyes and it's lunch that's how busy this place was it was always hopping what brought the downfall to this company was the decision by the owners to bring in retail sales for retail customers the problem with this was these customers would come in take up lots of time on the counter talking to Karen man like me about things are trying to do not knowing what they really want it and even though I tried my best to help them and steer them to what they thought they needed it took a lot more time to deal with them while contractors with a list of supplies in their hand we're waiting to get their orders cold so they can get out and on their way this is one of the things that drove a lot of people in the construction trades to other places with the company should've did was have two separate buildings one for retail customers one for contractors that way the two didn't mix and there was no slowing down the flow for the contracting crowd but this did not happen eventually bad management bad decisions let all the big companies did all the housing tracks in the big shopping malls and things like that ended up going to other places where they can get all the materials in one order and not have to worry about missing items not being complete it just started falling apart the founder of the company and the first general manager ran the company like a smooth oiled machine material was on hand things were stocked on a regular basis I don't ever remember in five years running short of a pivotal item like a half inch copper 90s but when the founder passed away the son and grandson took over and the police started going downhill from that point I do a lot of shopping they're the reason I shop there is because the guys are friends I've known them for years some of us to work together back in the day when I was there and the pricing is very good the only problem is when I need a lot of items I'm lucky to get two or three this is all because of the owners not want me to stock a lot of material on hand and this is the one reason everybody tends to go elsewhere where they can get the material pay a little bit more but you have it in your hand when you leave so it's sad to think that I won't be going there to buy any more material and seeing my friends still but in a way I'm kind of glad because it'll never be the company it was back in the 80s and it's just too sad to see what it's become now hopefully after it closes maybe the Landoll get sold any new shopping center housing center I'll get the bell up there but it's doubtful the properties been owned by the same family since the early 60s I Plan to go in on their last day of operation right before 4 o'clock when they close and make one last purchase being the last tag to be written up before closing I'll keep the tag in a frame so long down the road when I retire I'll say yeah that's where we used to shop lotta good times there very sad!

I came into this store looking to remodel during covid. They were understaffed but the few employees they had worked hard to help the customers in the store. The younger guy that helped me was very nice and didnt hesitate to go to the older more experienced guy at the desk for info and prices. I special ordered quite a few kohler items and although the lead times are kinda long the prices were fair.i dont get the nasty reviews, the staff of 2 guys were overwhelmed at times . Im sure my indecision didnt help but they still managed to be quite pleasant.

A very strange place which does not want customers and definitely seems to be on the way out of business. The other recent reviews are right on. Areas blocked off which used to hold merchandise and are now empty. Employees who mumble into their computer screen and when they actually look at you and mumble more you realize they are talking to you. I have bought quite a bit from them over the years but have not been in lately (good since I have not had the need for plumbing parts or appliances) but came in to replace a garbage disposal I previously purchased from them. No selection, one small pile of very large disposals and another of cheap ones, no middle of the road, probably not stocking much to reduce inventory. Very sad business model from what it once was.

I go in and stand in line. I wait for the one employee in this company to serve all the customers. He's very rude to every customer. Starts yelling the a customer who calls in on the phone. Blaming everybody for why he's has a bad attitude. Its Just a very negative experience. I'll head over to Ferguson to buy my 7000 feet of 2" pipe.

I'd give zero stars if I could, I never come here for anything. They are usually over priced. (That's a well known thing btw ) not only that but I come in here to grab a toilet and they are still requiring you wear masks to enter !!! We're still playing that game???? stop having your customers muzzle themselves when it's not required. Absolutely ridiculous. Another thing, I spoke to a older short guy, "thankyou for your patience" as I stood in line for 10 minutes. With only 1 person infromt of me, he then says " good thing your getting payed by the hour huh?" I replied "no actually, I'm not. I am the owner" the box for this toilet they gave me literally had green moss growing on it. Guy says " it's just the box, it's been outside forever".... great.... that sums up my wonderfull experience here at rv cloud today.... I recommend standard supply, pace, conleff, American ace, Saratoga plumbing, cal steam rubenstiens Etc.

R. V. Cloud needs to disappear just like its customer service has. Still can't believe that your counter guys are still pulling prices out of a desktop catalog holder. Hahahaha

My husband and I came here because it was close to the place where we were doing some plumbing work, i.e. volunteering our time in repairing pipes that gave out at a local lodge. We needed an certain sized extractor tool. It was kind of an esoteric tool. We thought they might have it since we struck out at Home Depot, Lowe's and Ace. One piece of advice: When it comes to plumbing, NEVER let ANYONE mix galvanized with copper pipes. You will pay later for that science experiment in metal electrolysis. Big time. As it was, someone did the project on the quick and dirty to save ten cents on a plumbing piece several decades ago. We're paying the price. Rusted, crumbled pipe. Ugh. They did not have it. Conleff plumbing in Santa Clara had the part. I was not sure what to make of the place. My husband had been there before, described it as more of the showroom style of plumbing store as opposed to, Conleff, which is a small shop crammed with parts. I was warned that there are signs around to not discuss masks or policies or politics. They don't want to hear it, and they're sick of it even if they agree with you. Okay. I do not mind as long as we can find the plumbing tool. I observed that the showrooms are roped off, displays have contents removed, and display fixtures are in boxes, arranged in a way to suggest barriers so you don't wander where you aren't supposed to go. Signs explicitly tell you to stay along the arrows and rope lines, of which there are numerous rows suggesting distancing for a crowd, with the marked spaces to distance customers. There's a rope queue as you get closer to the service desk. Okay. They're serious, but, this wasn't a busy place. We get to the counter, there are three people on duty, and you stand numerous feet away from that counter, much more than six feet . We observe an older couple being asked about a toilet that they want to repair that's very old-try 60 years as a number. The salesperson is suggesting that they replace the model for something more water efficient over finding parts. I had the impression that this couple would hire a contractor for the job, whatever the verdict would be. The person helps us with trying to find the part, but had nothing that will work. He shows us a shut off valve tool. The part we need is more like a ream. Personally, I got this vibe that you better know your place when you are here. Do what you want with this advice. I might go here again, but only if I ran out of other local options.

Rude, hostile clerks. These people did not want me and my wife in their shop. My guess is that they prefer to deal with contractors and want to chase the DIY crowd, with their small orders and naive questions, out of their store. In our case, they succeeded. We won't go back.
