Stay away from this place. All they want is to upsell you on unnecessary blood work. They're horrible reputation speaks for itself

Don't ever go here. They will not treat your lovely pet well and are extremely expensive. Waste of money

We engaged SAGE for a very specific reason and found the service helpful, efficient, and the Campbell office appears to be well run.

5 hour wait time was a bit excessive. Great once we went in. Not sure if the front desk gal was new but she seemed to be surprised that I didn’t know the protocol to coming in or not. Maybe she has not worked there as long as we have been patients as I was a custom to not going in the building after Covid. Now I guess customers are welcomed inside the building.

Took my beautiful 8 year old Bichon to Sage at 2:30 in the morning. He was having trouble breathing. They took X-rays and discharged him saying there's nothing seriously wrong with him. They charged me $2,500. He died 3 days later. Staffed by young inexperienced doctors. Never again!

Was referred by regular vet for overnight care after my dog had major foreign body surgery. He was cold and needed more additional after hours care. It took the receptionist 20 mins to check in. My original vet called in advance and spoke to the doctor on staff to update on his case. During the long check in process my dog coded and was told to sign a CPR form that later we found out cost $1500. When I spoke to Dr Johanne Lu she was confused about his previous history I had to remind her he just had surgery that morning… I later requested official medical documents and they lied on the medical record saying my dog came to them “DEAD ON ARRIVAL” as a registered veterinary technician who currently works in this field I am sicken in the lack of urgency & patient care that was not given to my pet.

I enjoy taking my cat here, he has cancer and sees an internal specialist and an oncologist. Everyone is helpful here and explains all the steps they are taking. They also take time to answer all my questions. My cat receives very good care here.

I am so pleased with the care and service we have received recently from SAGE - Campbell. I took my Yorkie, Benny, for specialized care with internist Dr. Catherine Rivara. Without going into too much health history, Benny is a special case and is only 5 years old so we want to do what is best for him. I was a bit uneasy before our initial eval because after researching this location I knew they were in the middle of a remodel with limited accessibility and Benny gets a bit nervous around strangers. He ended up needing to go to SAGE almost daily for care for about 2 consecutive weeks. I have to say, I was so relieved and impressed with how in touch I still felt even during the construction and not being able to go inside each time. They really planned out that whole workaround process very well, and how lucky is the community that they are able to stay open while they improve their facility?! (Side-note, construction isn't completely done yet but today they had their lobby/waiting area open!!) Dr. Rivara is so caring and patiently listens, advises, and answers all of our questions. Her nursing team is also great, and we encountered many of the nurses with our frequent visits. They were all so kind and warm and each time they took my Benny back I just got the feeling that he was in good hands. The front desk staff always gives a welcoming and approachable vibe. I also want to mention that Dr. Rivara was always transparent with the cost factor of care. Anything Benny needs, they offer a cost estimate without even being asked for one which is appreciated. All in all, I definitely would recommend Dr. Rivara and team at SAGE - Campbell and am so fortunate that Benny is able to be treated and cared for at this facility. It really makes me appreciate the amazing people that choose veterinary care as their profession and that do it with such heart. Thank you!
