“Little annoyed that I was overcharged for Swisher Sweet tonight. 1.29 +tax should be around $1.41. Out of a $5 bill, he gave me back $1.50. If I ordered 2 swisher sweets... I would have still got $2 back. *sigh* not coming here for swisher again.”

“Amber was a wonderful addition to a baby shower. Her margarita bar was a hit and so delicious, it was a great plus that she could make any drink a virgin for the Mom to be! Prior to the event Amber was very responsive and super helpful, I'm so happy that we had her for our event!”

“On 12/6/2023... My hunt for the coveted White Bordeaux was finally over And I couldn't be more pleased! The backstory: Years ago and I'm talking at least 30 years back, my mom was gifted a wooden box containing 2 Bordeaux's, a red and a white. The wooden box, which she still has to this day is proudly labeled Baron Philippe De Rothschild MOUTON CADET BORDEAUX Table Wine Product of France But before I throw my beautiful mother under the (metaphorical) bus, I just gotta tell you... She is the furthest thing from a wine connoisseur, let alone a wine drinker, so when she tells me that this white Bordeaux is the best wine she's ever had, I just go with it. Since that wooden box containing 2 Bordeaux's was gifted to my mom many moons ago, every once in a while she will bring it up and say... "Do you remember that white wine my friend Kathy got me? You know the one in the wooden box? That was the best wine I've ever had" Of course I know exactly which wine she's referring to. Little does she know, I've actually found and purchased that same Red Bordeaux many times (of course with a more current vintage) but nonetheless it's a decent Bordeaux for a fair price. But it's not the bottle of red Bordeaux that she coveted, it was the white Bordeaux and of course that was no where to be found (well unless you order form some 3rd party website 2 which I'm not a fan of). So, after years and years of desiring this white wine, my mom brought it up about again about a week before her 80th birthday. While on the phone with her, I put her on speaker phone, and decided to see what google had to offer...again it was only available via a third party vendor. (Booooo) Then, I suddenly thought to myself ... What about BevMo! So I go on their site, type in "Mouton Cadet White Bordeaux" and.... There. It. Was. Not 1, Not 2, Not 3, But 13 bottles IN STOCK at the Canoga Park BevMo! So I politely tell my mom, "I gotta go, I'll call you later" I then proceed straight to BevMo!, walked inside and asked one of the ladies stocking the wine for some assistance. She takes me right to the Bordeaux section and like a kid in a candy store I was beyond excited to finally find what I had been searching literally years for. So I picked up a bottle for my mom's 80th birthday dinner and a bottle for me and my wife to try ourselves. Fast forward a few days later... I asked my mom if she wanted a glass of wine and she said sure. I poured her, my wife and myself a glass and said, "mom cheers to your late friend Kathy. I found the wine you've been longing for and now I know exactly where to get it." She smiled ear to ear and was tickled pink that I was able to find her favorite wine that she first had so many years ago. I am grateful to BevMo! Not only for having this item in stock, but for my experience while in store. From the sweet lady who assisted me in finding exactly what I was looking for to the corky guy (pun intended) who wrung me, it was a great experience. And on top of that... Because I'm a ClubBev member, I saved a few bucks per bottle, even better!!! So, next time you are on a hunt for that rare vintage Burgundy, a quest to find the perfect Sauvignon Blanc, or you're a mission to find that boxed white Zinfandel your Aunt always has stocked in her refrigerator...
