we use the PetSmart hotel. Folks are super nice. Canoga is bigger than Northridge and a little cleaner. They have more of the items that sell out quick at other stores.

They are notorious for subpar conditions and selling sick reptiles that come from breeder mills. I have walked into several to see bearded dragon takes misted up when they shouldn't have a water dish at all in their enclosure (it raises the humidity too high and makes them prone to respiratory infection). They spread misinformation by just having poor husbandry and lighting. This place should really start providing the care and conditions these animals all need or stop selling them. Buy from an actual breeder don't make the mistake of trying to save them all you are just benefiting petsmart by buying from them at all.

We did a day care at here. Asked a customer service to update our dog’s vaccination records in their system in advance. We had 0 issues checking-in and checking-out. Facility is clean and stuffs were nice.
And their price is VERY competitive!

This store usually has everything I need and more, always with great deals. Though I have realized after the past few visits, there are very few employees with knowledge of anything to do with dogs (in my experience). Went in to ask some questions about different collars and dog items for a large breed dog and received very little feed back. The cashier, probably no older than 20 had no experience and the other employee had no feedback/recommendations for anything, just a "ya that should work" or "yeah thats a good one" and seemed more eager to get back to stocking than really providing actual help. PETSMART should have pet-smart employees, not just kids/seniors looking for a part time work.

I went there to place a dog that I was taking care of. They wouldn't take him because his owner failed to send records of vaccinations. It seems like a nice place. The employees have a lot of time to talk so it must not be that busy.
