“I was here last weekend for the PSA event, and this place was solid. It’s more than just a regular comic shop. They have comics, toys, TCG stuff, and enough space to actually host events without it feeling thrown together. The shop had a good collector vibe, and it felt like a place built for people who are really into the hobby, not just casual browsing.
The PSA event was the main reason I went, and I appreciated having something like that available locally instead of having to deal with everything by mail. Overall, cool shop, good setup, and definitely a place I’d come back to for comics, cards, or future events.”

Every item has clearly been so thoughtfully selected. From pets to parents, children, BFFs, and even yourself, you’ll find special treats and unique gifts that make you look like a superstar gift-giver.
I can’t wait to come back! If I were stocking Christmas stockings, this would be my first stop. It’s also the perfect place for adorable gifts for a place setting, gift bags, or those little finds that make someone feel special. I definitely want to treat myself to some California garb and candles next time.

“As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series and SERA Archives thriller novels, I always enjoy visiting standout bookstores, and Barnes & Noble in Calabasas at The Commons is a beautiful location.
The store has a strong two-story design with escalators leading up to the second level. The layout feels open and inviting, with a warm interior that makes it easy to settle in and spend time browsing.
One of the standout features is the manga section. It’s large and well stocked, and it really draws attention when you walk through. The mystery and thriller wall is also nicely set up, with a good range of titles and a clean presentation.
The café is a great space, with a mural of famous authors that adds character and makes it a comfortable place to sit and read. I always enjoy seeing my own book on the shelf here, which adds a personal touch to the visit.
The surrounding Commons area is upscale and well maintained, and parking is fairly easy with plenty of space available.
I also spent some time in the romance section while working on The Maui Desire Romance Series, and it’s a well-organized area that fits nicely alongside the rest of the store.
Overall, it’s a bright, welcoming Barnes & Noble in Calabasas with a great layout, strong selection, and a comfortable atmosphere that makes it easy to come back.”

“I wanted a Woolly Mammoth Tooth Replica for an outdoor activity I will be doing with students soon. I stumbled across Nature Watch online. I called before I ordered with a few questions and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I ordered the #819f replica and my tooth arrived very quickly (much sooner than others I had looked at because this is shipping out of California rather than China). It arrived with nice, personalized handwritten notes on the outside of the box and on the invoice, a little detail that lets you know you are dealing with real human beings who care. The replica was packed very securely and I couldn't be more impressed with its appearance. Other than the lighter weight, it is amazingly realistic. If I need anything related to outdoor education in the future, Nature-Watch will be my first stop.”

“I just want to share the excellent and truly grateful experience I had today at the Five Below store in Granada Hills.
Yesterday, while I was about to get gas, I realized I didn’t have my wallet with me. I searched everywhere—at home and at work—but couldn’t find it. Later, I remembered that I had visited the Granada Hills Five Below on Wednesday evening.
This morning, I called the store and asked if they could check to see if someone had turned in a Hello Kitty wallet. The person who answered, Stephanie, was incredibly kind and helpful. She asked me to hold while she checked, and shortly after, she confirmed they had my wallet safely stored.
I can’t express enough how much I appreciate that my wallet was kept safe. Inside were my work credit cards, personal debit cards, Universal Member Pass, and some cash—and everything was still there.
Five Below has always been one of my favorite stores, but now the Granada Hills location is officially my favorite! Special thanks to Stephanie for her kindness, professionalism, and truly great customer care.

At the end of the day if they have Pokemon they can sell at whatever price they want. Dont get discouraged because of the ratings are, surly they’re fake. Owner and employees are very genuine.”
