“I had a pretty special experience at Gelson's in Dana Point this past Friday. After I had returned a box of pasta back to the original location instead of leaving it on the end-aisle display where I had decided on another brand, the on duty/store manager came up to me and thanked me. I try to do a lot of "good" in life...certainly much more important in scale than this, but having him notice and then taking the time to compliment me was very special. Thank you for taking the time to recognize a small courtesy.”
“BEWARE OF THIEVES AND PICK POCKETS! THIS LOCATION HAS A KNOWN PROBLEM OF THIEVES SWIFTLY STEALING THINGS (wallets, phones, etc) RIGHT OUT OF YOUR PURSE OR SHOPPING CART. as far as the staff and the trader joes products obviously this store gets 5 stars. but people ought to be warned!!! its happened 5+ times at this location. AND its actually an issue happening across all trader joes stores in america!! keep your wallet and device either firmly in your hand at all times or securely fastened close to the chest. “Haven't been here in a few years. But I like what they have done with their little Joey crackers and such. What I do not like is their rendition on OREOS! F-ing joe-re-os. This is clearly a rip-off of the classic snack that we all know and love?. I haven't tried them but all I've heard is good things. I would go here more often if convenient.”
“Lovely place with incredible produce and flowers. The quality of the cafe food is unmatched, and it's such a beautiful and welcoming outdoor atmosphere. Everything we've tried from baked goods & jams, to breakfast sandwiches & tacos have been wonderful. “Love this local spot. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and you can tell they work hard to keep everything running smooth. They have a huge variety of fresh products and authentic items you don’t always find at other stores.
One of my favorite parts is being able to grab my wife’s favorite hard seltzer here. They carry local brand in both 24oz cans and 12 packs, and they always keep it fully stocked.

I came here before close on a Wednesday night looking for cookie dough bites I saw on instagram.
An employee named Dillon really went above and beyond and made my experience here memorable. I was talking to my friend about looking for guava jelly and he overheard and mentioned to me that he thought they were out of stock. He didn’t stop there though… he went and checked for me to make sure. I appreciate the extra effort he took there and saved me from mindlessly wondering around for it.
I was a little bummed as both the cookie dough bites and guava jelly were out of stock but just as I was checking out he was able to find me a bag of cookie dough bites, completely making my night! They were also really good and I would highly recommend.

“The sweetest ever cashier Erin saved my daughter. At checkout, my daughter was sitting in the top seat of the cart and her cousin was helping unload groceries. While trying to reach the bottom of the cart, her cousin was hanging on the side and the whole cart tipped over and almost landed on her and my daughter would have smacked her head really bad. The (gorgeous might I add) cashier Erin swooped into action and saved the day. She caught the cart mid fall. My chicken Caesar wrap was the only casualty and they promptly sent someone to replace it with a new one. She even remembered to give my kids stickers at the end. I can’t say thank you enough. What an amazing employee and the coolest ever grocery store.”

“Pavillions is a very nice grocery store with and amazing inventory of food choices. There is a fresh deli and sushi department, meat and seafood department, and a bakery, as well as a very well-stocked wine and liquor department. Store is neat and clean. Unfortunately, most of the staff are unfriendly or indifferent, with a couple of exceptions. Prices are higher than the average supermarket but the excellent quality and selection makes up somewhat for that.”

“It’s a bit of a downer, but I actually like this place. It’s not too crowded and has all the essentials. There are a few folks in the parking lot who seem to need help, but I’m not sure why they’d choose Von’s parking lot. Lately, there have been a lot of women asking for assistance. They seem to be in good shape and can help themselves. I just don’t want them to rely on me. I don’t want to bother them either.”

“My new favorite is the Tuscan herb olive oil and red wine vinegar. I love this place we visit san clemente once a year and I'm always buying a case to send back home the owner is so sweet and helpful and I think its the chef they do classes with I met last time was awesome who introduced me to this mixture. Everything I've tasted though is amazing and rich not what you can get in the grocery store. Totally worth the money for the quality. They answer every question you have and are always so helpful. Can't wait to go back in a couple months for a birthday present to myself.”
“Wow, what can I say? I can’t believe how much you guys help my family whether I pick the groceries up or have them delivered. I have no words your kindness and accuracy is spot on 1000% of the time! One of us is there 3-7 times a week, Groceries are delivered at least twice a week and my household wouldn’t be able to function without you all! The cost to have my groceries shopped for and delivered here - I’ve tracked over the last two years - and I saved so much more money by shopping here and even having them delivered than if I were to shop for them myself at Ralph’s or Vons or pavilions or any other local grocery chain! Fresh made from the deli, great products such as Boar's Head deli meats, and the bread crispy on the outside, soft inside, panini style with some beautiful and tasty sauces, and enormous for about $10. Easily eat half now and half later. And this was considered a "half" sandwich - still had two halves!*my personal favorite is to dip it in their freshmade shallot yogurt for even more flavor.”
