“I was on the hunt for seashells to use in an event I organized this October, and I found everything I needed and then some at this store! They had a fantastic selection of beautiful shells at very affordable prices. I'm absolutely thrilled with my discovery and will definitely return soon. :)”
“Best place to visit while in Santa Cruz. In the quaint town of Capitola, this hidden gem should be on your list. Jennifer has been the owner for years and carries many gourmet items, including Salts from all over the World, as well as great gift ideas. Cork purses, and items from all around the globe. Dolce & Gabbana decorative tins with Stollen bread are ON SALE now! Give it a try and trust me, you'll be back for more!!”
“I recently visited Lumen Gallery and had such a great experience! The selection of jewelry, art, and home goods is beautiful and really unique—there’s something for every taste and style. I ended up finding the perfect gift, but honestly, I wanted to take half the store home with me. The staff was super friendly and helpful without being pushy, and they really know their stuff. It’s a great spot to shop for yourself or find special gifts. I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“super cute art store in the heart of capitola... my friends and i stopped by en route to the beach and loved what we saw here, lots of custom greeting cards, paintings by local artists, mugs, jewelry and clothing branded with capitola. some of the actual artwork was very unique, symbols and things that i hadn't seen in other art stores. the ladies working there were super sweet, very friendly. hours are a little limited though, they only open wednesday - sunday, 11.00-17.00 (closed on monday & tuesday). as far as parking, there is limited street parking, but your best bet is to park in the city parking lot about a block away.”
“A cute mom-and-pop shop close to Capitola Beach! Me and my family visited Capitola Beach for the first time, then we happened to walk by Rainbow City Limit. Since it was our first time here, we wanted to check out the souvenirs they had. The inside is really quaint and fashioned with many toys and tourist souvenirs. They also have a selection of Beatles merch which I thought was pretty cool! I ended up buying a Santa Cruz sticker sheet and a couple of postcards to mail to my relatives. The owner was really nice too. Definitely a cute place to stop by if you're in the area! Just a heads up that parking can be hard to find in the area. Paid street parking only and you have to move your car after 3 hours!”
“I bought a pair of beautiful earrings, accidentally dropped them in the street, and didn’t realize I had lost them until I got home. I loved them so much, I decided to go back to the store a couple of days later to buy another pair. When I arrived, they recognized me immediately and told me that someone had found them and brought them back to the store. They said they even walked around looking for me. Needless to say, I was so grateful to the good person who found them and the store for caring enough to try to find me. A not so great experience turned into one that totally made my day! Great store and great people running it.”
