While some guests feel the parking and resort fees are high, many still recommend the hotel for its cleanliness, peaceful atmosphere, and attentive staff. Overall, The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa is a highly-rated choice for business trips, weekend getaways, and relaxing stays.
This would be an exceptional hotel if it wasn’t laid out so weirdly. Rooms, especially in the south tower are incredibly far from the entrance. Room service and restaurant are exceptional and pool is really fabulous. If it didn’t take 10 minutes to walk from the room to the lobby it would be a five star hotel.

Had an amazing time at this bar. Killer bar and Bartender David was incredible. High level professional service, amazing cocktails, he made me the Califashioned a repo tequila old fashioned with a rinse of mezcal. Delicious. It’s rare to get this kind of customer service. We will be back 💎💯⭐️
