“Great little Inn off the beaten path but not by much. We stayed in a large room..very spacious and comfortable. Quaint lobby with coffee, tea and snack with a place to sit and enjoy. Planning on staying there again on our next visit!”
“We stayed for 4 nights and overall had a mixed experience with both positives and some frustrations.
The room was clean on arrival, the bed was comfortable, free parking was convenient, and the location worked well for our family. However, there were several inconsistencies with communication regarding our room request, breakfast service, housekeeping service, and guest service during the stay.
That said, a few staff members stood out. Isai was consistently friendly and welcoming, Adriana made breakfast service much more enjoyable with her attentiveness and positive attitude, and Paola was apologetic and empathetic when concerns were brought up.
I also want to acknowledge Arthur (AGM) and Kevin (GM) for taking the time to follow up afterward and make things right. That effort was genuinely appreciated.
We have family near the Carlsbad area, and despite the challenges, we would still consider giving this property another chance as a potential go-to family hotel.”
“We stayed at this resort on our family vacation to Lego land, it was a perfect short drive to Lego land, a perfect walk to restaurants, and perfect short walk to the beach, the resort itself is great, clean, kept up with, fire pits add a great vibe every afternoon, the staff is very friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed and helped, with your stay you also get options to check out beach supplies such as chairs and umbrellas which is super helpful, the beds could use some upgrades as well as the pillows, the small windows in the rooms could use some blinds to help black out the room to help with sleep, aside from that no complaints! Great stay, great value. Thank you 🙏”

“I had requested special room requirements and these were accurately entered by the reservation rep. When I checked in, Andrew reviewed my request and ensured that my room worked for me. I had a room overlooking the ocean and the amenities covered my needs for the stay. Andrew has an excellent customer service attitude and a great sense of humor. Later I asked him for more information about the area and he gave me help finding the items I needed for my work.
Later I dined in the restaurant and Craig was covering the bar and restaurant. He helped me alter my meal to accommodate special diet requirements. He checked in to make sure everything worked for me.
Overall the service met my needs, it's a great location and I would recommend this hotel.”

“The room we stayed in was in a bit of disrepair, specifically the bathroom, with peeling wallpaper. There was a clump of hair on the floor that was missed by housekeeping. Otherwise, the room was tidy uon check-in and standard amenities present: fridge, coffeemaker, microwave, iron, hairdryer, closet w/hangers, tv & remote. Our 1st floor room backed up to the storage facility next door. There was landscape lighting pointed toward our window which was mostly blocked by the shade. The glow against the window made it appear that it was always daytime outside of the room. Room service is alternate days which is fine for me because I like to keep my own room during my stay and just request things as needed. The front desk service was pleasant, breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Parking was an issue. The parking lot is shared with the other on-site hotel, and we were nearly forced to park offsite when returning to our room on a Tuesday night after 9:30pm. The parking spots are very narrow as well which created a challenge for many guests with larger SUVs and trucks who often encroached on a second space. All-in-all, decent hotel that we stayed at on a promotion. Would likely choose a different property in the future over staying here again.”
“Two reasons I won't hesitate to return: 1) Allen makes guests feel deeply valued and welcome and 2) Fitness center has hex dumbbells and foam rollers.
This details seem small but they are not. Keep it up!”

“We recently spent a week at the Four Seasons Aviara and found it to be exceptionally nice. The resort is comfortable, beautifull and the service was excellent! If anything is needed just ask and it will be addressed almost immediately. The location is great as well, about a 15 minute drive from the ocean and close to many ammenities.”

“Stayed here a few times now. Nice hotel right in Carlsbad CA. Beds are good, shower is great, room is spacious, and clean. Service is good too. Enough parking, had no problem, and close to Carlsbad village, and beach. Ya your not right on the beach, but for a fraction of the price, plenty close enough. Great place. Would definitely recommend.”

“This would be an exceptional hotel if it wasn’t laid out so weirdly. Rooms, especially in the south tower are incredibly far from the entrance. Room service and restaurant are exceptional and pool is really fabulous. If it didn’t take 10 minutes to walk from the room to the lobby it would be a five star hotel.”

“So there is a guy named Dylan who was so nice upon check in . He just has a good way about himself . Then I needed a phone charger . He went in the back and saved me a trip to the store . He gave me water upon arrival . He is a superstar. This place is great except they don't have DIRECTV . But he really made my day better”
“For the price you pay, you really can't complain. We stayed here one night with 2 adults and 2 kids. Rooms were spacious with a full size fridge, microwave, stove and counter space. The place was clean, the bathroom included, shampoo/conditioner/body soap as well as hand soap and lotion. This place also has a small but decent gym, pool and hot tub. Breakfast is included and it included breads, eggs, potato, sausage, oatmeal, waffles, muffins, fruits, juices and coffee. I loved the location as it's close by to grocery stores, freeways, outlets and Legoland.”

“Great location, comfy room and very very clean! The highway is very close so it can be loud outside but you cannot hear from your room. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We needed a crib and they were able to accommodate. They cleaned our room every day and brought fresh towels. A perfect stay!”

“Great location, beautiful hotel, perfect distance from legoland, the beach, and shopping, the staff was nice but new, at check in I asked to have our room clean every other day at 12 but they forgot to right it down, so I had to go down and request to get our room clean, had to ask for more towels to shower which never arrived. Our room had a small ant problem and the floors were dirty, but overall a very nice room. The pool and courtyard was beautiful, but the pool needs to be cleaned more often and deeply. And the rules of it closing at 10pm need to be enforced. Had two straight nights of grown adults out there partying past midnight. And sneaking alcohol into the pool area where children were swimming. Was a good stay just needs to get up on its feet with its new ownership. I’d stay agian.”
