She is all about supporting locals and uses her shop to help display amazing local, hand made goods. Many recycled goods, so u feel good about buying them and get lots of compliments on anything u get there! Highly recommend when looking for unique gifts for ur loved ones .”

“I was running late to get a birthday gift for a friend and drove by this place! I saw the front display and knew they would have great options! I knew I needed a card and a candle. I quickly found the cards and while looking Lauren came up to me and asked if I needed help! I said yes I need a candle she showed me around and when I couldn’t decide she asked her teammate Faith. She came over and helped me decide with a well thought out explanation on why I should get one candle over the other! I am sure that my friend will love the card and candle! Great shop lots of options and super friendly staff! Also noticed an epic amount of epic kids clothes!”

“We just got back from a wonderful vacation in Carlsbad, we stayed at the Carlsbad Inn right next door to California Wear. We really liked the shop and I did buy a Carlsbad T-Shirt that I liked. When we were looking at T-shirts during the day the employees were very adamant that if I wear a XL that I really needed to buy a XXL due to shrinkage, going against my gut feeling having never buying a XXL. I bought the shirt later in the evening and the cashier confirmed what the others said..I'm home now and washed it in hot water and dried with high heat and I'm still swimming in it! Should have followed my instincts and purchased the XL..Oh well I'll know better next time...Great Shop though!!!”
