Motel 6 Carlsbad, CA Beach offers a basic and reasonably comfortable stay with a great location close to the beach, restaurants, and stores where guests feel very safe. The rooms are clean with clean beds and working TVs, though they can be somewhat dated and expectations should match the price. While issues like smelly rooms, electrical problems, or missing refrigerators are occasionally reported, the staff is consistently highlighted as amazing, awesome, friendly, warm, kind, patient, extremely helpful, accommodating, and understanding. The front desk employees and manager handle busy situations expertly and work to resolve guest concerns. The security and entire crew receive praise for providing clean accommodations and five-star customer service, leading many guests to recommend this decent motel.
Room was basic, but reasonably comfortable. I would have loved there to be a nightstand on both sides of the bed though. Great location. I felt very safe here.

The clerk was awesome. They only had 1 room a available and it was a smoking room which was disgustingly smelly. The electric had issues. We had no lights for a bit. They came back on and a went off . But got taken care of later The room was clean and bed was clean. Tv worked

The location was great. The check was fast. The room was fine, nothing fancy can't complain.
