“I love ALDI'S!! I love that it's small, has gluten free and healthier snacks, just enough wine, cheese and chocolates along with the household items and gifts I forgot I needed! The produce and meats are mostly prepackaged but that's ok and the selection is more adequate. I'm getting used to the different brands they care and am finding my new favorites. I'm just so grateful there's still a store that isn't the size of a football field that has everything I need...simplified.”
“The parking lot is pretty tight. The store is different from the other locations I'm used to, it feels like the layout is reversed and goes right to left instead of left to right.
It is generally well organized and clean, you can tell it's up kept or just has less traffic. The staff are friendly, I got rung up by a nice guy named Nicholas. They seem quick to open another line.
The important part: the Aisle of Shame is easy to browse and get through without being trashed. They must have someone going through often to fix it.”
“I had a good visit at this Encinitas Aldi. I picked up some avocados, uncured lunch meats, ground turkey, high grain sandwich bread, and some radishes.
All items were available, well priced, and in good condition. The lady at the register was very friendly and helpful.
There's plenty of parking at this location.”
“Their food is bomb! If you like ceviche you can always find some good ceviche already made in the fridge by the check out lines. The food is great! I love that the quesadillas aren’t greasy and the food is made upon ordering but it’s worth the wait”
“Nice store with great produce and bulk coffee selections. Especially appreciate they go to the trouble of putting roast dates on the coffee bins. Good selection of breads and baked goods, too. Reminds me of what Sprouts use to be.”
“Other than the worker following us everywhere, it was a great experience. We used the restroom as soon as we walked in(family of 6), because we were driving and taking the scenic route from San Diego to Los angeles. Heard about this place on tiktok for best cookies in SD. We came for the cookies and bakery items.
The restrooms: very clean and modern. This always tells me a lot about food in any store or restaurant.
The cookies: The chocolate chip was so yummy. Even after a day it was still soft and delicious, if not better than the day before. The chocolate chip with nuts wasnt me or my hubbys fav but my oldest loved it! i think they used milk chocolate chips for the original cookie and dark for the nut one.
The pastries: The birthday macaron is a 9/10. The only thing my kids didn't like was the flavor of the edible metallic spray, Which is common so I wont hold them for that. The Oreo cheesecake was a 10 out of 10 for my kids. my 2yo ate a whole one by himself and refused to share lol. my son rated the cannoli 7/10. He said it was good but nothing to rave about. He also had a chocolate macaron, And he loved it 20/10!!! My hubby also got a Raspberry cheesecake and he liked it. 8/10. Everything was affordable which was a plus with such a big family.
other notes:the bakery staff was sweet and patient with my kids and answered all of our questions. I love that they have complimentary water by the seating area. The man following us around made me upset but we were on vacay so i tried to "look past it" just this once. The store is very organized and clean and well labeled so you can tell exactly where everything is.
Over all we will be back, and hopefully won't be followed.”

“Great market. The deli has great sandwiches and good hot plates. They also have good premade sandwiches and salads. Good meats. A little pricey, but good quality items! Friendly staff!”
