“I am very surprised to see any reviews lower than 3 Stars as my multiple (6?) visits there, grandchildren in tow, have always been delightful. The docents and other volunteers with whom I interacted were courteous and knowledgeable. I plan to visit without grandchildren (oldest is 7) so that I can actually take all the time I want before ending in the children’s interactive area. There are so many interesting and unusual exhibits to explore, and with wee ones yearning for the hands-on room, I’ve not yet been able to take the time I’d like. As I live locally, I purchased the grandparent pass, and fully anticipate using it frequently through the years. Thank you for this little gem.”

“If I didn't have Downtown Works I'd still just be working at home or from coffee shops—this place is worth it! The staff are genuinely lovely and it keeps a nice, friendly vibe with coworkers, but you're also welcome to just do your thing. I have the 24-hour access and it makes my life easier knowing I can pop in whenever I want. The space is comfortable and classy, including a nice patio outside, there's snacks, coffee, and beer on tap, plus showers and ample parking.”

“This was a dream come true! Ever since I first visited the Flower Fields years ago, I knew I wanted to take my mom here because she loves flowers as much as I do! Well, today I finally had the chance to bring her! She came and visited me from out of state, and it is a brief trip but I KNEW I definitely had to take the opportunity to bring her to the Carlsbad Flower Fields, and it did NOT disappoint! As someone with a green thumb herself, she absolutely LOVED seeing new colors of flowers she hadn't encountered before, and loved being surrounded by all the beauty. We took pictures everywhere, enjoyed some ice cream, drank iced chai and raspberry green tea from the Cafe- it was a perfect day! It favorite part was riding the tractor-pulled wagon full circle around the fields twice! ? It was so enjoyable, I am SO happy I was able to get this dream come true to enjoy these moments with her!”

It is exactly what I was looking for - a community of like-minded Mamas helping each other care for their little ones while holding space to allow you get back to doing other things. My little boy loves it; it's play time for him. He is safe and so happy there. These ladies have created something so special and I am so grateful to have found it!”

“My wife and I hosted our son’s birthday party at K1 Speed, and both he and his friends were extremely excited. Ahead of the event, K1 Speed contacted us and asked that all guests arrive at least 30 minutes early to complete registration and check-in. Everyone arrived on time as requested; however, the entire process was delayed by over an hour.
During this time, the facility appeared very disorganized, and I requested to speak with the manager. The manager on duty, Mr. Matthew Slama, took the time to listen to our concerns and understand our frustration. He explained the reasons for the delay, accommodated our guests, and handled the situation in a professional and thoughtful manner, which helped de-escalate the situation and put my wife and I at ease.
In summary, although our experience with K1 Speed started off on the wrong foot, the presence and professionalism of a manager like Mr. Slama ultimately made the experience much more pleasant. Managers like him are essential to the entertainment business and make a significant difference in how a business is perceived by its customers.”

“I reached out about hosting an event for my wedding, and Joel quickly responded, letting me know he could reserve the patio for us. Once I provided the final headcount, he went above and beyond by closing the winery for our private event. We had an amazing time—the atmosphere was perfect and exactly what we were hoping for.

Joel was fantastic to work with and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. His team was also incredibly kind and helpful throughout the event. I highly recommend this venue for any special occasion. Thank you all for making it such a great experience!”

Food and drinks: Ponto Lago was so good - Potato Tostones were so good as were all of the proteins! Service is amazing - we had 3 servers attending to our every need! And let's not forget the views - serene AND glorious!”

“We bought the summer pass and it was well worth it. The kids love burning off energy and I have been extremely impressed with the teens that work there. They are all so nice and accommodating and somehow aren't even a bit annoyed when kids ask for every flavor they have (six) in their Icee. The bathrooms could stand being checked more often, but otherwise everything there is very clean and multiple hand sanitizer stations around. It's a great place to get some work done while keeping an eye on your kids from the parents area up on the top. Food prices are very fair as well. Well done, SkyZone!”

“I had requested special room requirements and these were accurately entered by the reservation rep. When I checked in, Andrew reviewed my request and ensured that my room worked for me. I had a room overlooking the ocean and the amenities covered my needs for the stay. Andrew has an excellent customer service attitude and a great sense of humor. Later I asked him for more information about the area and he gave me help finding the items I needed for my work.
Later I dined in the restaurant and Craig was covering the bar and restaurant. He helped me alter my meal to accommodate special diet requirements. He checked in to make sure everything worked for me.
Overall the service met my needs, it's a great location and I would recommend this hotel.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa for our kid’s birthday vacation part 2! While the property is currently under construction (which wasn’t clear during booking), the team went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, especially Grace B. She was truly exceptional! Grace personally reached out before our stay, made sure all our needs were met, and took care of every detail with such warmth and care. Because of her, our trip felt special, smooth, and stress-free. Thank you, Grace, for making our family celebration unforgettable!”

“The bedrooms were lovely and spacious with very comfortable beds. The pool was a moderate size and the spa was a lovely temperature. Gym had limited appliances but was still good and cool. Lovely place to stay, staff were also very friendly.”
