“We had the absolute best time at our wedding and cannot recommend The Havens enough! They were extremely flexible, timely, and accommodating with our dog who was a part of the wedding. The service and food was excellent and the venue itself was extraordinary. We even had a different coordinator who had to jump in a few months before the wedding and it was completely seamless like she had been there all along (shoutout Faye!). Everyone commented on how lovely the staff, food, and venue itself was and we couldn't agree more!

The bridal suite and groomsmen suite were absolutely beautiful and the day of servers and food were incredible too. Every moment of our experience at the havens was worth it and we wish we could go back every day!”

Working with Shannon was one of the very best parts of planning our big day — she and her team also helped with day-of coordination and logistics and were kind, detail oriented, and generous with their time and support.

This venue truly is the best-kept secret in the Oceanside/Vista area. From day one, when we went to tour the venue, Shannon made everything so easy and she just clicked with us - felt like she'd be an amazing person to work with. That feeling proved more than true. She guided us through the logistics, took care of so many details on the day of, and went above and beyond to make sure everything flowed perfectly for us.

Not only is the venue beautiful and flexible, allowing you to work with your own vendors and plan the day with insight and advice from Shannon's many years of experience, but it’s also a very reasonable price to rent the space with flexibility on the indoor/outdoor options.

We also love that the Optimist Club does so much charitable work in the local community. Can’t say enough good things - our wedding was perfect thanks to Shannon and her wonderful team! Enjoy some pictures of the venue in early January (green, beautiful sunset, and not too cold - with a few heaters around the guest tables!)”

“Amazing retreat for our San Diego Vacation. We were in one of the airstreams and got to enjoy listening to nature sounds at night, playing with the goats and enjoying the hospitality of our amazing hosts. This is an oasis not far from the city. Close to the freeway but we didn't hear it. Highly recommend this peaceful getaway.”

“The Elks Club in Vista was off the hook . The band was fantastic. The dance floor is pretty big and a lot of line dancing if you love to line dance .. go check it out!!!! ? Oh and the food delicious thumbs up to the chef...”

“Me and my daughters love it here. Good way to end the night and start the weekend. Good eateries around so you can drop the kids off and have a quick date night. They have so much to do here. The prices are totally reasonable and not expensive at all. They offer so much. The staff is super friendly and very supportive. Good times for all.”

“First time stay at brand name hotel was not a good experience, cup was dirty, faucet was clogged and bathroom has no air vent, shower tub clogged up with little bit over an inch of water, call front desk no answer, show up at front desk and was told nothing they can (in house maintenance) until 8am the next morning ( ridiculous).”
