“Dr. Hall is an awesome doctor. She took so much time to explain everything to me and constantly reassured me that my pup was OK. She is the fifth and final vet that I will go to. I had the hardest time finding a really good veterinarian in the area. My little Yorky, Sophia, went into her office, trembling and left perfectly relaxed. Thank you for all the time you took and explaining everything to me, Dr. Hall. I look forward to our next visit.”

“I never knew there were specialists for pet dentistry. I am so very glad I chose them over my vet (who is excellent!). However, these specialists do this full time, and nothing else. Typically a regular vet doesn’t have a dedicated dental arena with modern equipment and where everything is easily available if complications should occur. Nor is the focused experience and trained expertise comparable.
Soooo grateful to all the staff for their constant updates, concern and care throughout the surgery/ cleaning.”
“Wonderful folks at this location, especially Denise! It is evident that she loves animals and my cats love her ?!Very welcoming and patient answering questions and concerns. Location has a homey feel and the vets are not knowledgable, but personable as well. I have had teeth cleaned/pulled for 2 cats and they always try to save teeth and keep prices down.”

“I’m super happy switching our dogs vet over to Banfield Pet Hospital in Carlsbad. I have the problem child dog that wants to nip at the vet. They are so wonderful and caring. They always let me hold him and comfort him during any checkup or procedure. Even though he still hates going, we always end up leaving happy & having a good experience. In our last visit we had a dental cleaning and they found bad teeth and did extractions. I felt like they were caring and honest, and everything was explained clearly before, during, and after his procedure. He’s doing great so far the day after and I know he’s going to be such a happy boy with his new clean teeth! I highly recommend this sweet team of people in caring for any pet.”

“I drove to San Diego after my dog Bentley had cancer surgery in Canada. Unfortunately, I then received poor biopsy results and therefore radiation treatment was recommended. I'm super grateful that I was referred to Dr. Proulx and Dr. Ogilvie. They were very skilled and compassionate. Also, all of the staff without exception were professional and kind, including Rebecca and Skye. Bentley was always happy when arriving and leaving the hospital. He received 17 radiation treatments. We then returned to Canada and started chemotherapy. Bentley is doing well and we are “both” looking forward to returning to San Diego next winter. We also plan to visit the hospital and say hello!”

“After our vet recommended a specialist for our Gussys luxating patella and CCL tear, we weren’t happy with the originally referred practice, so I did my own research and found SurgiPet. From the very first phone call I was impressed. They were friendly, transparent about pricing, and genuinely understanding. The entire experience, from the initial consult through surgery day and post-op care, has been seamless. Because this is their specialty, everything moves efficiently.. no unnecessary waiting or feeling like you’re just another appointment. The doctors and nurses are incredibly knowledgeable and always take the time to answer every question without ever making you feel rushed. We are so grateful we found SurgiPet. The only downside is the distance, but it is absolutely 100% worth the drive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone whose pet needs orthopedic care.
