“I recently took some sports cards in that me and my dad collected in the mid to late eighties.i was blown away at the sheer amount of knowledge they had for everything I bought in.on top of knowing what they are doing they are just some rad guys that know how to treat the people who make their way into their store.oh and the price Greg gave me was VERY FAIR and then what he threw in on top so I could go do a certain thing was extremely awesome for him to do.long story short if you have any sports cards ect take them into teammates I promise they will do what they can to get you what you need.”

“This was a great little shop. Lots of sports cards with a decent selection of pokemon cards. There was great music playing and seating in the middle so your comfortable browsing the boxes. The pokemon cards were all basically near mint, priced, and in top loaders. It's a good place for collectors and the guy behind the register was answering lots of questions from people and really professional :)”

“I don't write reviews often any longer, but this place deserves some positive feedback. I stopped by for a dart lesson and just to see what the store offered. I'm a newb to darts and thoroughly enjoyed my visit.John offered up a lesson and helped my buddy and I correct some form issues as well as pick out some nicer darts to upgrade from my stock ones that came with my dart board. He's a great salesman, as he wasn't pushy, and he allowed us to throw a number of different styles and weights of steel tip darts to find a couple of sets that were comfortable. He also offered up some great humor, and you can tell he has a real passion for the sport and watching players enjoy the game. There was a large selection of darts and accessories. I needed some replacement parts and I upgraded some sets.I also walked out with 1 double set dart case and a dart holder for my game room. I will definitely be back.”

“reasonable prices, lots of space, lots of product variety. Also advertises groups for their games like SW legion, 40k, etc. so you can find players. Staff is friendly and attentive to answer questions if you need anything.edit: Since the owner asked what it would take to add the 5th star... sure I'll tell you(there's a couple issues). One is basically the location. It's a weird drive around to the back of a shopping center no matter which side you're coming from. But I do understand getting a space that size in a better location has a massive cost associated with it.The second issue which I understand but find annoying is the lockup cabinet for the GW character blisters. Yes it keeps kids from pocketing minis, but when I have purchased from that cabinet in the past it means going to the counter to get staff, point out what I want, wait for them to get it, then they take it back to the counter where I get it when I check out. Since the staff is attentive, it's not a huge problem to grab someone's attention, but it also means taking the time of staff who could be helping someone else in the store. As I said, I understand why this is the case, but it's not something I've personally encountered at any other game store.”

“Cut on demand is a great service. We only had to wait 15 min for our order. Great customer service. They have examples of the thickness and colors. In addition if you want rounded corners they have many examples. It was worth the drive to get exactly what I wanted.”

“Drago was so helpful missing a 2x1 white piece for my phantom ii and I found the right piece saving me a trip to the LEGO store at the Roseville Galleria thank you again Drago!”

“I remember a time when going to A-1 Roseville felt like a huge adventure. We mainly stuck to A-1 Auburn for our nerdom needs, though it was smaller in tables, it was huge in inventory and it was close and had great staff. I popped by this location for a quick game of Lorcana. This shop is favored for the many tables available for free play or organized games. It has lots of inventory too if youre interested in comics, figurines, and a million games to choose from. A-1 has become a standard for Sacramento CCG players and has even more locations. Proud to see them grow and will stop by all of the locations I hope.”

“I switched over to this A-1 Comics store about 4 years ago and I don't regret it. The staff is engaging and gets to know your tastes (by what you add to your pulls) and will recommend other material they think you might enjoy. And if you decide to pass on their suggestion(s), then they are totally cool with it whereas other shops try to low key guilt you.I do everything to support this place so myself and other geeks can be provided escapism.”

“Wow! I acquired a really old dollhouse that is empty. I found this store and the ladies were so sweet and helpful! I had questions about wiring and they took me to the back where a man was wiring a house for a customer. He explained EVERYTHING and was also very nice. I could have spent all day looking around in the store. I got the wiring kit I need and bought a really cool fireplace too! The prices are great, quality is fantastic and I have a feeling I will be visiting this store often.”

“A train lovers dream! Lots of trains in all scales G, O, HO, N, and even Z scale! Lionel, LGB, Bachmann and more! I visited on a Sunday afternoon and the place was rather busy for a hobby shop. I will definitely be returning to this place to buy more models. They also carry lots of train books, timetables, maps, and merchandise. The gentleman at the counter was helping other customers with their purchases and spent a good few moments making sure he was good with his purchases. A true full service place. Be sure to budget at least an hour to take in everything!”

“My family tries to stop by this card shop every time we travel to Sacramento. Small business and the owner is super cool! Amazing selection of Pokemon cards, but they have other TCG and sports cards there too! Highly recommend to anyone looking to add card or collectibles to their collection.”

“They are the largest hobby store in Sacramento. They have everything RC, plastic models, slot cars, model trains, etc. Very friendly staff and willing to help you find what you need.”

“Since Google knows where I go and all… This Michael’s is great. Parking is eh but it’s not too bad. I always find a spot in front. I came here to check out their Halloween decor since Hobby Lobby no longer handles Halloween merchandise. The staff is always helpful and always have projects with my wife so I like that this place isn’t so expansive like Hobby Lobby.”

“Asked when we entered about what we were looking for. Was given precise directions. We got what we needed and browsed a little. Checkout was a breeze. Lovely experience.”

“Omg! I cannot recommend Ashlea enough!!!! She went above & beyond this evening. I needed a custom frame done for a funeral the next day and even though it's not their norm to be able to accommodate that she thought outside the box and helped me come up with a solution! Plus she was so fun to chat and hang out with for 30 min while my frame was getting made. On top of that she didn't know originally it was for a funeral. She could just see the desperation in my face and jumped to action! You don't see that level of customer service anymore. Thank you Ashlea!”

“I bought some little containers/ jars. If I ordered them online they would be $12 including shipping. But at Michael's they're only $2 to $3. They're the exact same jars as the ones online.”
