“La Sierra has been a staple in the community for decades. From being a high school that set national fitness standards (check YouTube for some footage from the 60s and 70s), to a community center and elementary school that it is today, this area has been vital for many in the Carmichael area. The fields are currently undergoing renovation and look to become a premier athletic field destination with a paved walking path. Carmichael Parks and Rec do a great job of managing the athletic programs and after school programs, and the rental facilities are constantly in use and well taken care of. Numerous baseball fields, soccer fields, multi-purpose basketball courts, a theatre and banquet hall, Sacramento area could use more of these style facilities. My family loves this place and will continue to be regular visitors to this facility. One downside could be the age of the facility, however the city passed Measure G which should update much of the facility’s vital infrastructure such as roofing and HVAC.”
“We had such a wonderful experience with this venue for our wedding day. The space was absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration.
The food and bar service were both fantastic, and our guests had so many great things to say.
I would absolutely recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-rounded wedding location with great service, food, and amenities.”

“I contacted The Vintage Monkey about getting some work done on my 1968 Honda CL450. Denis was able to fit my bike in between some big restoration jobs.
I can’t say enough good things about Denis and the work he did. He redid the wiring connections in the headlight and now all the lights work as they should.
The bike wasn’t running very well and so he cleaned the carbs and adjusted the floats and a few other things and it runs better than it ever has since I’ve had it.
He sent an email every day with an update and photos and got it back to me in a week. He is very fair and honest and easy to work with. Highly recommend Denis at the Vintage Monkey.”
“Nice facility, I've been for classes, celebrations of Life, and even weddings. Clean facility, fond memories. If you look at the memorial bricks around the Native Statue, on one of them you'll find my parents, and you'll find some history of the donors that made this park.”

Is as easy as sending her some inspo pictures so she can make your vision come to reality. She has great customer service and makes your feel welcome ! Plus the indoor playroom is always clean.”

“I love this place! I discovered it a couple of years ago and have been popping in here and there ever since. I have a collection of oddities, and the Altar Room always has products that I can add to my collection. The vibe here is cool--you walk in the door, and it feels like you've entered a secret lair (in the best way possible). I believe this location is sometimes available to rent for events, and I've definitely considered booking the space. The owner is so sweet and kind, and I've chatted with her multiple times as I've shopped. It's a great experience every time I visit.”
“My kiddo has very much enjoyed her classes here! It’s been a great way for her to use her energy, follow directions, learn agility and social skills. Tumblebuddies is more than just a tumble class! She started classes when she was 4! The coaches are amazing and so good with the kids!”
“Besides sports events, they sometimes hold fairs here as well. Yesterday, we went to a reptile expo. There were lots of snakes, iguanas, and geckos that you could actually touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
There are drinking fountains, restrooms, and a café, and the building was air-conditioned, which was especially nice. There is also a huge parking lot, which is very convenient for events like the one we attended yesterday.”

“Our organization had an event recently at The Center and everything went really well. They were very patient and accommodating with some of our last-minute requests. Elisabeth and Rick were a pleasure to work with throughout the process. It was centrally located since we had guests coming from Sacramento all the way to El Dorado Hills. Parking was conveniently located and the built-in stage saved us money as we usually have to have a stage constructed. Sound quality was great and there were many lighting options. Highly recommend”

“The Jury Experience is a worthy experience! The audience is the jury for a trial and gets to participate throughout the play, not just the ending vote on guilt or innocence. The topic is AI - a self-driving car kills a bike rider swerving to avoid a head-on collision. Morality and ethical questions arise and the character of the inventor is suspect. The cast of five did a good job. The Guild theater is a funky old building with a good balcony, but was filthy.”
“Went to hear a favorite band of ours (Too Many Squirrels) and celebrate a birthday. It was very fun, big dance floor which. when necessary could be used to add a few more tables for guests.”

“Great experience. Kristina set it all up for us and the process was easy and smooth. They gave clear instructions and expectations. The venue was clean and they provided sll the services they promised from clean up to security. Security was present. They answered questions promptly. They accommodated any requests to meet right away. They contacted us on making arrangements to get the deposit back immediately after. We rented the venue and yard for golf putting and corn hole and some tables games. They had a nice seating area outside the venue for people spilling out. no complaints. it was great.”

“Parneet/Rajah was amazing in putting together my son’s 1st Birthday Party for about 100 guests. Everything from the decorations, to the music, food, lighting, photography and video was 5-star worthy and worth every penny! In fact he provided the best value for the best price when I was shopping around for other event packages. Parneet was super accommodating with all my special requests when it came to decorations and the food. He was also very timely with his responses (like in a matter of minutes). The food was cooked fresh, the video and photography were very trendy, and the help staff were all friendly. All in all, everyone from my family, friends, and guests were mesmerized with the decorations. It definitely took all the stress away from planning such an event. Would definitely host future parties and events with Maharaja Event!”

Cute stage area for the DJ, catering counter made meal serving easy, full bar with a good selection of liquor, pool tables, lots of seating, smokers balcony. “I usually get my 25¢ cup of coffee and get occasional $3 lunch here when I get there! Since the CoronaVirus Pandemic started in 2019, the staff had to stop the 25 cent coffee and the dounuts! It's mostly due to keeping all the members healthy and safe from contamination. Can't wait until things get back to somewhat normal again! Greg's retired in 2022 and the Yoga teacher had his April 4, 2022 Birthday (yesterday) some things are getting back to normal, little by little.”

From start to finish, the communication with the owners was seamless and easy, which made the whole planning process stress-free. The venue itself is perfect for a small gathering—well-equipped with tables, chairs, a sink and fridge. The adorable stage area with the accent wall added such a charming touch to the celebration. Our friends and family were all impressed with the space, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate.

“My first time but won't be my last!!! Just too hot but the good time, friendly people & fantastic food will have me going back next year & the following on & on! We first got there & bought tickets at $1 each & food & drink was priced accordingly. The line for pierogies was very long so we started out wit potato pancakes. Absolutely wonderful cooked to perfection thin potato crispy pancakes with your choice of both sour cream & applesauce totally outstanding!! Each order is two & I believe 1 ticket per pancake. Couldn't have been better! We went inside to eat where it was quite nice temp wise. While eating the pancakes saw someone with the polish dog had to have one of those!! Well able to eat 1/2 huge dog & super good kind of sourdough like bun. You could have with ketsup, sauerkraut, or/& mustard. It was the best Polish dog ever, you bite into the dog & the skin pops and the taste is phenomenal!!! By that time line was short for pierogies so using last 2 tickets got one each and last 2 tickets 2 bottles of water!! We only spent $40 total & great food wonderful amber jewelry along with other stones. It was a great time!!”

“Overall great experience and a one stop shop that really helped take the pressure off us coordinating food, tables, AV equipment, and setup / cleanup. All the staff and coordinator were so friendly and helpful. Parking was a breeze for guests. All of the factors that gave us pause choosing a location in central Sacramento were alleviated by using Milagro event center. Not only that, the food was so good! I’m so grateful to have found this location and for there to have been availability. Highly recommend for any event or reception needs.”
