The store is always fresh and clean, no foul orders like some other meat markets. My only complaint is the price of the meat. But I guess all food everywhere is becoming overpriced now. I was planning to go to another carniceria in Montebello to pick up some asada for the 4th but thought hey might as well look for something in this city. I gave my bf two choices and he ended up picking this spot.I'm always on the hunt for good, tender, well seasoned (but not salty) and lean carne asada. It's hard finding a spot, I hate tough meat. We took a chance here and let me tell you their asada is hella tender! Even my bf who is picky af with his asada ate 6 pieces in one sitting. Their asada is perfectly seasoned, pull apart tender, lean and super juicy. At $17.99 def a steal of a deal for good cuts of meat.Come out and support this local mom and pop shop!”

“This place is a place I've been coming to as a kid. So many memories and it's crazy some of the workers are still there after all these years. All the workers are nice and sometimes the cashiers will do small talk with you. It may be a small place but you can find good food there. You got to have the carnitas, so bomb. You'll find the price higher than a grocery store but I'm going to support this local business.”

“The fam and I really enjoy the meat here. We've purchased a variety of meats from here and it's always amazing! This is our go to place for meat, always! We always spend more that $200 each time. We even take some meat up north to my family when we visit because they also love it... the service from the current new girls here is just horrible though. They do not interact with the customer, they are rude when asked a question and just simply feel like they own the place. If they only knew they could be replaced just like anybody else that works there. Please review the employees that are the first thing people see when they walk in... it honestly made me feel like coming here less.”
