Their seasoned wings are packed with flavor, their shrimp is fresh, the raw Denver cut steak…so tender and marbled and those Korean-style ribs, seriously addictive with that sweet-savory marinade vibe. Shoutout to Daniel Matheny from BYO Meat for the awesome free cooking experience he runs nearby on Saturdays! I brought my haul over, and Daniel worked his magic grilling and smoking everything to perfection. The wings came out crispy and juicy, the shrimp had that nice char, the Denver steak was melt-in-your-mouth, and the Korean ribs? Insanely delicious with that smoky edge. He really knows how to elevate top-notch meats like these, huge thanks for the delicious job and the fun community vibe! “First time coming here with my husband! We’ve lived in the area for a year now & are still choosing out which spots have the best meat… this place wins!!!
We bought meat for a carne asada, salsas that were made there, some chicharron con carne, pan Dulce, & coricos because I only ever get to eat them when my mom comes back from Sinaloa… wow bomb!!! Just walking in, you can see & SMELL that it’s clean & just the vibe in there is welcoming.
You know how some meat places stink? I know raw meat has a smell but some places just STINK. This place doesn’t!!!

“I have driven by this market for years But never stopped because it looked very unappealing due to the title MEAT. That word always stood out, and since I don’t eat meat, I never went in. Apparently, there are new owners, and while I don’t know how it was before, I decided to stop in because I needed cilantro, and now I noticed meat and vegetables. I don’t think I have ever been in a cleaner store. It was absolutely spotless. I’ve gone there twice now and it’s going to be go to place for produce. I was so impressed about everything, the prices are good. The produce quality is superior to the mainstream grocery stores. Yassir, the manager Is super friendly, above and beyond! The owner is lucky to have such a great employee to represent.
I didn’t try any of the homemade sorbet or ice cream, but I did take note. They had a professional juicer behind the counter so not only is it homemade, they use fresh juice to make it. I also purchased some fresh green salsa, which was out of this world. I’m so happy to have found this little market.”

They have a great selection of breads to choose from as well as sandwiches that are made to order.

“I like the market/restaurant. I've been going here for a little over 5 years. The owner and staff are very nice. Prices are OK. Given current problems with inflation and supply shortages,they have as a good a selection as can be expected. I really like their freshly made tamales and flan. Both are very good. Their tamales are best in the morning. And I consider their flan to be the best I've ever had. They are especially kind and helpful to their disabled customers (of which I happen to be one) Again,I really like it and would happily recommend it.”
“I love coming to this store because it’s one of the larger locations with a much better selection than the smaller stores, which often have limited inventory. The store is always clean, well-organized, and fully stocked. I especially enjoy the meat department because it offers a great variety of fresh products.

“Been coming here for about 25yrs now! And it never disappoints...Was referred by an ex coworker who grew up around the area. I've been told I am crazy to drive so far (32mls)...that I can get meat just as good nearby...Well I have tried other places & each time after being disappointed, I had to take that ride to Carson. Believe me, it's well worth it! Most times when I come during holiday weekends, I find others who come from far away cities as well...so I'm not the only one taking these drives. This past week I tried the shrimp only ceviche for the first time. Delicious!”
