“The worst thing about ordering something on-line is the possibility of having to deal with a return or exchange. I am happy to know, first-hand, that this will not be the case when I order from Lakeshore just so long as they continue to provide the service I received during Christmas (2023).I want to compliment Lakeshore and, specifically, the nice lady (Karla) who helped with the issue I had with my web order 516830774. Your Packing List No. 101822 correctly listed one I Can Drive First Fire Truck (Item FT765); however, I received a different item altogether (some tent building kit). My little Girl specifically wanted this truck and I was heartbroken to think that I wasn't going to be able to give it to her that Saturday. I called and the lady who helped me assured me that I would receive the correct item beforehand. The ease of getting everything straightened-out left me second-guessing whether or not everything would actually turn out the way I was promised. Especially since this was during Christmas...but it did. I didn't even have to return the item that was sent by mistake. Thank you!!”

“As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series and SERA Archives Thriller Series, I always enjoy visiting standout bookstores while traveling, and Barnes & Noble in Manhattan Beach is a super nice location.
The store has a broad, open layout with lower shelving that lets you see across the space, giving it a welcoming and easy-to-navigate feel.
There’s a huge children’s area along with a very nice café space. One detail that stands out is the wraparound mural featuring well-known authors, which adds character and makes the interior feel more engaging.
The overall setup is clean and thoughtfully designed, making it a comfortable place to browse and spend time.
I also spent a few minutes in the romance section while writing The Maui Desire Romance Series, and it’s a well-organized area that fits nicely alongside the thriller shelves.
The staff has been friendly and helpful, and the surrounding shopping center is very well kept with plenty of parking, which makes visiting easy.
Overall, it’s a strong Barnes & Noble in Manhattan Beach with a great layout, inviting atmosphere, and a solid selection.”

“I have nothing but excellent things to say about this company and their products. Extremely communicative, professional, thoughtful, understandable, easy to work with, funny, reliable and trust worthy. I could keep going but we don’t have time for that. I’ve been a customer for about 4 years and have purchased two Can Ams. Each transaction, from Mini Motorz, has been nothing but the most amazing experiences. From ordering directly through the phone, to the owner taking time out of his busy holiday schedule to work with me, to a super easy delivery- it was by far the easiest and least stressful purchase I’ve ever had to make for my children. I have two boys who love everything off road and I have so many memories with our first Can Am. Out of all the toys in our garage, every kid in our neighborhood, knows the green razor! Kids aged 2-13 have been apart of these memories and I’m truly grateful to make even more with our new one.
Note to self: I will NOT be power washing the underneath of our new one. You might ask-why did you decide to do that one fine afternoon, when your Can Am has been nothing but easy and reliable for the past 4 years? My answer is: I will truly never understand my thought process behind that decision. But what I can tell you is that 1. I will not make that mistake again and 2. This will not be my last purchase! Thank you again.”

“I've been coming here for almost a year now and I can proudly say that this shop is the definitive place for beginners to start their comic book journey. This store was my introduction to comic books and the owners there could not be any more kinder. Entering a new space can be scary but they make it so user friendly. For any newcomers I would suggest avoiding Wednesdays as that is their busiest day of the week with new comic book releases. So only go if your looking for the newest releases. Any other day is perfect for a relaxing browse or yearning questions to ask. One of my favorite local business in the city.”

Long story short, i bought my first combat patrol (Dark Angles), and I cannot be happier. I was nervous to go in, but was welcomed and made to feel very comfortable. I cannot wait to get further into 40k! Cannot wait to return to this store.

“I went to top canvas on a Wednesday not expecting to find any Sonny angels because they’re so hard to find nowadays. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by an associate named Angel and he was super helpful! The moment he knew I was looking for Sonny angels, he showed me everything they had! I ended up taking two Sonny angels and a collectors Sonny Angel which was cool! He was super dope and just made the whole Sonny Angel experience better! “I had a great experience at Children’s Orchard. The clothes I gave up were in perfect status and even though i did not get what I was expecting in return I did get a fair price for most of my items.
I traded a big bag of clothes worth $70-$80 to get a shoulder mount and a bilingual toy. Toys were cheap too and in good shape! I will definitely come back.”

“This is my all time favorite soccer store! The store itself carries an ambiance of professionalism and uniqueness. They have so much variety, everything from original jerseys to jackets and shoes! This is my go to place when am looking for soccer gear. Their prices are far better than any other nearby soccer stores. They have the best customer service and I can see that they have a strong dedication for their customers. You can really tell that they have a strong passion for sports and really know about the soccer community. “Located Peninsula Shopping Center, Five Below is a specialty discount gift shop chain that prices most of its products between $1.00 - $5.00, with some exceptional finds $5+.
My son goes to Cantonese school across the street, & one of the moms mentioned there's a cute graphic tee that's perfect for our growing Chinese momentum: You're All That & Dim Sum! The tees section was quite large with lots to choose from. I got the dim sum tee for my 8 YO son, & also saw another tee (born to game forced to work... LMAO) that perfectly describes his latest transgression from studying, though there's not much to study or homework for that matter in elementary school.
There's also toys & games, beauty products, candies & snacks, books, etc. They're similar to other discount stores like Dollar Tree & Daiso, but on the higher price tier with more variety & trend-focused products for the younger set.
Customer service is efficient & friendly. I only waited a few minutes with a handful of people ahead of me. Parking is plentiful in the shopping center based on its location & doesn't compete much for spaces with the anchor stores or restaurants.
Five Below is a great alternative for the bargain shopper! And now that the holidays are here... check 'em out for gift giving ideas.”
