“Absolutely LOVE this place. My friend and I took a trip out to Torrance to relive our inner 80s kids and we loved every second of it. 80s/90s nostalgia in well organized glass cases with lots of unopened merch, hard to find and rare items. There was also inventory sitting off to the side waiting to be put on display. Toys of the universe indeed... and everything in between. The owner is so knowledgeable and personable; we really enjoyed talking to him. He gave us some "ah ha" info about select items that made it feel like we were in a museum (if you're a true nerd, you know that random facts are like power-ups *insert sound effects here*). We bought a Gameboy at his other location with 2 games. They were willing to make a fair deal and allowed us to test it in the store. This was my first time ever (yes, ever) playing a Gameboy and my heart melted a little bit :)There were many times I spotted an item that took me back to the good ol' days and I had to keep my tears in check. I must have said "I remember this!" over 30 times. We got a few things and are already planning another trip. The prices are reasonable and they also buy items which they can give store credit or cash. Def support small biz by checking out this unique gem. I wish they had places like this out by me in Ventura. Until then, we will keep going back for our nostalgia fix.”

“Went to the Comic Cult yesterday and did some digging, found a few comics, and had a welcoming vibe from one of the owners named Tony. Will definitely be going back here. Tony said they also do CGC grading submissions for anybody who is interested. Go check them out!”

“Beware!! Enter at your own risk. It's sooooo hard to leave this store without buying something. They have EVERY pop animation merch from around the world, starting with an awesome Funko Pop collection. Every inch of the store is covered in American & Japanese paraphernalia. You'll definitely be leaving your money if you enter this place with a kid or girl. You've been warned.”

“Went here for my daughter’s 3rd birthday and Megan and Knox provided such a great experience! They were so friendly and helpful to my daughter, from building the bear to checking out the entire process was great. Knox and Megan are great employees”

“They are only open during a warehouse sale, which they post the date for on their social media. Was given a rundown about how they handle the crowd and received a paper with a price sheet. Employees were polite and quick to answer questions as well as restocking product. They were also asking customers what they were looking for and would try to see if they had any. Overall a fun and easy experience and I can't wait for the next one.”

“I went to top canvas on a Wednesday not expecting to find any Sonny angels because they’re so hard to find nowadays. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by an associate named Angel and he was super helpful! The moment he knew I was looking for Sonny angels, he showed me everything they had! I ended up taking two Sonny angels and a collectors Sonny Angel which was cool! He was super dope and just made the whole Sonny Angel experience better! Customer service was 10/10 and I’ll be back for more Sonny angels lol :))”
