“Great location at one end of Old Newhall. Rooms on train side can be loud so they provide earplugs but the plus side is that you can easily catch a train to downtown L.A., from where you can go to Santa Monica, Long Beach, etc. Train plus Uber is so much more pleasant than traffic jams! Very nice walkable area full of bars and restaurants and a huge library. Hotel has a bar on some evenings, outside in a 2nd floor courtyard, nice to avoid the sometimes noisy/crowded bars on Main Street.”

“The star rating is for Sienna and her only, because without her this entire establishment would be receiving a negative review. Breakfasts was fine rooms were ok, laundry services are terrible, so make sure you don’t have to do laundry during your stay. But as I attempted to go through the multiple step process to do laundry, Sienna was there to assist and guide me. Her wonderful smile and calm demeanor saved me from ripping my hair out. As companies continue to remove the human experience in the name of cost, it’s individuals like Sienna that are on the frontlines protecting the very essence of what makes this earth traveling and seeing.
Thank you Sienna you are worth your weight in gold to this ungrateful life sucking corporation known as holiday inn express”

“This place is a gem. The staff is beyond helpful and everyone always provides exceptional customer service. I’ve had the privilege of interacting Naomi, Jason, and several others at the front desk and they are incredible humans that provide a wonderful service in important, often crisis moments for me. The manager there (I sadly forget his name, I thinks it’s John) is one of the coolest people I’ve ever met, and he is so gracious and kind. The rooms are always clean and at such an affordable price point, I’d say this is the best place to stay in Santa Clarita. Everyone who runs that place deserves praise.”
“Initially our room was overbooked. The managers were absolutely fantastic though and found an option that worked better for us. The hotel was super quiet (with exception to the highway 'need for speed' drivers). The rooms were very clean and well put together, the lobby and outdoor seating area were awesome and well maintained, etc. This hotel was easily our favorite on a 7 day trip. So much that we booked an additional night. It's a quick hop and skip over to Six Flags (maybe take an Uber to avoid parking fees), Starbucks was less than a mile away, and there was a sushi place in the same little strip mall. Stay at this hotel. It's awesome.”

The room side is decent, with windows overlooking the pool.
The hotel is next to mall, within walking distance, you have shops and restaurants available.
