If opportunity arises, drop into CV Marketplace, especially Oculto restaurant on the second floor, with an excellent menu, variety of wines and cocktails, and attentive staff. I really enjoyed the shop's inside Castro valley market place. They have a bakery, butcher shop, grocery store and more. It's pricey but very high quality groceries.
