“Shawn is a doll (vintage extraordinaire). I could have spent the day in that store looking at every item and talking to him. Prices are right, items are perfect and lots of options to peruse. The owner (Cat) has access to lots of LA studio and dropstock items. I love all the items, it’s like stepping into my grandparent’s house. While I loved all the jewelry, hats, clothing, shoes, pjs, robes, caftans, etc, etc, etc, the housewares was where my focus was. I grabbed some amazing cocktail and bar items to go in our mid-modern home. I hope to be back next PS trip. 💗”

“The Fine Art of Design is chic and well curated, and when I visited this big little vintage shop it was buzzing on a level I've never seen! Women and young ladies of all ages were there pouring over the racks, all quite giddily announcing their finds and oohing and aaaahing over each other's selections. The shop's owner was busily taking care of several customers at a time by answering questions or ringing someone up - he never got a break! I used to own a vintage store and being in this shop gave me pangs of fond remembrance of the joy of vintage - both selling and buying. Tourists and locals alike were intermingled going through the racks that had both vintage and some high brand newer pieces in reasonable price points. Nothing too costume-y, just cool girl looks. I highly recommend!”
“Huge vintage store selling all kinds of random stuff, from furniture to clothing, books, boardgames and a lot of other things you'd expect in a vintage store. It's nice and open and not as cramped as most. Very friendly personnel. A little pricey but worth looking around for sure.”
“What more can I say than this shop saved my trip to Palm Springs. It's like all the best PS has to offer is wrapped up in this one building. At least from my perspective.
I grew up in the SF Bay Area and worked and lived most of my life in The Castro...So there's that. As part of a getaway to Joshua Tree (Fantastic) I thought it would be a good idea to end the trip in PS . Boy was that a mistake. We splurged ($$$$) on a "historic resort" that should have been retired years ago and the strip was as if Fisherman's Wharf and The Castro were combined into a tacky tourist swamp.
I have always been told how great PS was but I'm sorry I just don't get it. Thank god for the friendly and talented folks at Thirteen Forty Five”
“Having just been invited to the Palm Springs Film Festival gala, I realized I literally had “nothing to wear.” I popped into Pre-Loved and lucked out. Never, have I ever purchased anything from a re-sale shop, but let me tell you….the dress I found appears to have never been worn. It’s clean and in perfect condition. The owner, Denise, was lovely. She couldn’t have been more helpful and kinder. A wonderful experience! The inventory is carefully curated. Less is more is the general philosophy of the shop. In other words, but better, not more. “This store is filled to the brim with elegant vintage couture and ready to wear clothes with a good helping of handbags and jewelry. Be sure to ask the store clerk to help you to look at items in bags, as some are delicate and on the verge of museum pieces. The fashions are well curated and deserve a look behind the front one in the garment bag. These are real treasures, and the prices reflect it.”
“After Angel view, this was the anticipated stop for the Destination Bachelorette Party I was taking Thrifting For five hours on Saturday afternoon. This was an impressive, eclectic collection of everything in a really big location, not closed in and cramped at all… Large enough that they even had a charcuterie wagon.
