“The Last Honest Mechanic! That’s what Smitty’s is. They are the best! And they treat you like family. But best of all is they keep costs down as best they can (and are cheaper than everyone else) and only fix what you need. They’ll tell you what needs to be fixed and what can keep going for another 6-12 months (for us financially strained folks). I live in Atascadero (used to live in Los Osos) and take my cars there - that’s how great they are. Thank you Alan, Mark, and team for always taking care of us!”

“We experienced an engine problem driving to Morro Bay for the weekend. We took the car in to Bay Auto & Tire at 8 a.m. (on Saturday!). A very nice man named Jose said he would give the work priority because he knew we were from out-of-town on a short vacation. He quoted a fair price, and stuck to it. No upsell or price-gouging. Very honest. He even gave some advice about something completely unrelated (involving the power steering) that he noticed while changing the spark plugs. It didn’t need immediate attention, but he said to keep an eye on it, and have it checked by our regular mechanic when we got home.”

I got Don's number from Auto Zone. He was willing to install a battery to get it running. As it were- a divine appointment, Don asked how much we were selling the vehicle for. “Passed smog easily! Highly recommend CC AUTO!
I initially went to Smittys in Los Osos and Allen's smog machine detects every tiny problem so you can't pass. I paid 60.00 at Smittys only to have it Fail smog test on a Prius!
Then went to CC Auto. No problems. Passed easily.
DO NOT GO TO SMITTYS. IT WILL NEVER PASS NO MATTER HOW GOOD YOUR CAR IS!

I know nothing about cars but never felt I was being spoken down to or sold on something I didn't understand because both of them took the time to communicate at my level.
